국문 초록

이번 연구는 음성분석기술을 활용한 표준중국어 단모음 발음평가 및 교정방안을 제시하기 위하여 H대 교육대학원에 재학 중인 일선 혹은 예비 중국어교사들의 실습보고서를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 모음 음성분석에 사용하는 포먼트표를 통해 정확한 발음진단이 가능함을 알 수 있었고, 이 결과가 발음교정으로 이어지기 위해서는 현장에서 적용할 수 있는 구체적이고 직관적인 교정방안이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 모음 교정방안에 있어서 혀의 위치를 고·저 혹은 전·후로 이동시키라는 표현보다 외부에서 관찰이 용이한 ‘입을 크게 벌리세요.’ 혹은 ‘입을 작게 벌리세요.’, ‘입술을 쭉 내미세요.’ 혹은 ‘입술을 납작하게 만드세요.’ 등과 같은 조작성이 높고, 효율적인 안내가 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이번 연구를 통해 첫째 음성분석기술을 활용한 발음진단과 발음교정 뿐만 아니라, 발음교육과정에 있어서 관련 전문용어를 현장에 맞게 녹여낼 필요성을 느꼈으며, 둘째, 단모음 뿐만 아니라 음성분석기술을 기반으로하는 복모음, 자음, 성조, 억양, 강세 등에 대한 연구의 필요성도 느꼈다. 특히 음성분석기술을 기반으로 하는 발음진단 및 발음교육은 향후 자동 발음 평가시스템 구축에 있어서 첫 번째 단추 역할을 할 것이므로 이 영역에서 보다 활발한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the experimental reports of current or preliminary Chinese teachers attending Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Graduate School of Education to present a standard Chinese vowel pronunciation evaluation and education using speech analysis technology. As a result of the study, it was found that accurate pronunciation diagnosis was possible through the formants table used for vowel speech analysis, and specific and intuitive correction measures that can be applied in the field were needed to lead to pronunciation correction. In other words, in the vowel correction plan, rather than the expression of moving the position of the tongue to high, low, or front and back, it was found that high-operability and efficient guidance such as “Open your mouth wide.” or “Open your mouth small.”, “Pout your lips.” or “Flat your lips.” was needed. Through this study, I felt the need to melt related terminology in the pronunciation curriculum as well as pronunciation evaluation and education using speech analysis technology, and second, I felt the need to study abdominal vowels, consonants, intonation, and strength based on speech analysis technology. In particular, pronunciation evaluation and education based on voice analysis technology will serve as the first button in establishing an automatic pronunciation evaluation system in the future, so more active research should be conducted in this area.
