국문 초록

본 논문은 신정론의 질문과 관련하여 그리스도교 신학이 보다 체계적이고 정합성 있는 해명을 제시해야 한다고 생각하여, 판넨베르크 신학을 연구 대상으로 선정했다. 그에 따르면, 그리스도교 신학은 진리실험이라는 논쟁적인 지평에서 자신의 과제를 수행해야 하며 그리스도교 신학의 교의학적 설명이 인간의 주관성에 근거한 언설이나 특정한 경험에 근거한 파편적인 서술이 아니라 모두에게 통용가능한 보편적인 진리주장이 되어야 한다. 따라서 그는 진리주장과 진리논쟁의 차원에서 기존의 인문학적, 철학적 논의뿐 아니라 현대의 자연과학적 설명까지도 신학적 진술 속에 비판적으로 수용하여 그리스도교의 진리주장을 체계적이고 정합적으로 전개해 나가고자 한다. 본 논문은 판넨베르크의 신학 체계를 담고 있는 대작(opus magnum) 속에서 신정론의 문제와 답변을 추적하여 정리함으로써 그리스도교 신학이 현실적인 악의 문제에 답변할 수 있는 체계적 해명의 가능성을 모색하고, 아울러 판넨베르크의 신학적 답변에 내재해 있는 논쟁점이 무엇인지를 숙고하고자 한다.

영문 초록

In this thesis, Pannenberg’s theology was selected as the subject of study, considering that Christian theology should present a more systematic and coherent explanation in relation to theodicy. According to Pannenberg, Christian theology must perform its task on the controversial horizon of truth experimentation, and the dogmatic explanations of Christian theology should be argued as universal truths that can be applied to all, not statements based on human subjectivity or fragmentary statements based on specific experiences. Therefore, he seeks to systematically and coherently develop Christian truthclaims by critically accepting not only the existing discussion in the humanities and philosophical discourse but also modern natural scientific explanations in the theological statements. This paper presupposes Pannenberg’s theology as a systematic theological answer to the question of theodicy. By tracing and arranging the problems and answers according to the fact of evil in the opus magnum that contains his theological system, Christian theology will find the possibility of a systematic explanation that should be pursued. This paper will also reveal the controversial issues inherent in Pannenberg’s theological answers.
