국문 초록

『퀴어성서주석』(QBC) 신약편이 2022년에 한국어판으로 출간되었다. QBC는 퀴어들의 바이블로서 퀴어신학의 신학적 통찰들과 다양한 해석들을 담고 있다. 본 논문은 전통주의자의 시각으로 QBC를 분석하고 비평하려는 시도이다. 먼저 현대 퀴어이론과 결합된 퀴어신학의 내용을 정리하고, 이것에 근거한 퀴어비평 방법론이 갖는 신학적 의의를 주장하였다. ‘퀴어’라는 용어가 전통적인 ‘동성애’ 개념을 넘어 LGBTIQ와 Allies 까지 포함하는 포괄적 개념이며, 이성애적 가부장주의의 경계선을 폭로하고 해체하려는 모든 행위까지 지칭함을 지적하였다. 신약성서 27권을 빠짐없이 다루고 있는 QBC의 광대한 주석을 다음과 같이 세 부분으로 나누어 분석하였다. 첫째, 동성애와 관련된 QBC의 성서 구절 해석에 대한 분석과 비평. 둘째, 현대 퀴어의 시각으로 해체적으로 주석하는 부분의 정리와 평가. 셋째, QBC의 퀴어비평이 전통적 신학에 주는 도전과 통찰. 결론적으로 퀴어신학이 좀 더 교회의 신학이 되어야 할 필요성과, 전통신학과 퀴어신학과의 만남의 중요성을 강조하였다.

영문 초록

The New Testament part of The Queer Bible Commentary(QBC) was published in Korean in 2022. QBC is a queer bible, containing theological insights and various interpretations of queer theology. This paper is an attempt to analyze and criticize QBC from a traditionalist’s point of view. First of all, the paper will seek to analyze the queer criticism based on queer theology and modern queer theory. It is pointed out that the term ‘queer’ is a comprehensive concept that refers to LGBTIQ and Allies beyond the traditional concept of ‘homosexuality’, and also refers to all practices that attempt to expose and dismantle the boundaries of heterosexual patriarchy. The extensive commentary of QBC, which covers all 27 books of the New Testament, is analyzed in three categories as follows: 1. analysis and critique of the QBC’s interpretation of biblical passages related to homosexuality, 2. the understanding and evaluation of parts that are deconstructed and reinterpreted from the perspective of modern queers, 3. the challenges and insights that QBC’s queer criticism gives to traditional theology. In conclusion, the necessity of queer theology to become a theology for the church and the importance of communication between traditional theology and queer theology are emphasized.
