국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘통합 인지적’ 관점에서 여러 쓰기 요소들의 통합을 가능하게 하는 원리로 ‘쓰기적 사고력’을 제시하고, ‘쓰기적 사고력’을 구성하는 요소와 사고 층위를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 기존의 쓰기 이론에서는 쓰기 활동이라는 인간의 행위를 놓고 다각적인 설명의 뿌리를 갖기 위해 노력하였다. 이들 이론의 궁극적인 목적은 복잡한 성격을 지닌 쓰기 활동에 대한 실체를 밝히는 데 있다. 그런데 쓰기 현상을 이루는 여러 요소들 가운데 어느 한, 두 요소에 관심을 두고 쓰기 현상을 설명한 까닭에, 필자와 텍스트, 독자를 둘러싼 사회·문화적 상황 사이의 상호 작용을 통한 의미 구성을 설명하기에는 부족한 점이 많았다. 이에 본고에서는 쓰기 현상을 설명하는 ‘통합 인지적 관점’을 토대로 하여 여러 쓰기 요소들의 통합을 가능하게 하는 원리로 ‘쓰기적 사고력’을 탐색하여 이를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 기존 연구를 비판적으로 검토하여 ‘쓰기적 사고력’을 탐색하였다는 점에서 이후 양석 분석과 질적 분석을 통한 실증적 논의 단계를 남겨 두고 있다. 하지만 기존 연구에서 다루어지지 않았던 쓰기 활동에서의 사고 과정을 구체적으로 다루었다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to present one paradigm which enables authors to integrate various writing techniques from the integrative cognitive perspectives as well as delve into some factors that help deepen the thinking skills in writing. Research on existing theories has been conducted to explicate individual writing activities in many ways. Their eventual purpose was to explain the semantic build-up through interactions among the author, the text, and socio-cultural context. Thus, this study is suggestive of cognitive writing techniques that make possible the incorporation of various writing skills and steps based on “integrative-cognitive” aspects. This study leaves open substantive discussions through as many as quantitative and qualitative analyses even though it has reviewed the existing research studies and examined cognitive writing. Anyhow, This study is meaningful in that it concretely covers cognitive processes in writing activities that have seldom been dealt with.
