문법교육의 소통적 관점에 관한 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 국어교육의 생태학적 인식을 바탕으로 문법교육의 소통적 관점을 고찰하는 것이다. 일련의 논의는 문법교육 연구와 실천을 위한 담론화의 방향을 제시한다는 의의를 지닌다. 이 연구에서는 문법교육의 텍스트 중심성 원리에 대한 해석을 중심으로 소통적 관점에서 문법교육이 실행되는 구도를 명시하고자 한다. 생태학은 문법교육의 소통적 관점을 정립하기 위한 인식론적 기반이 될 수 있다. 그것은 국어교육이 살아 있는 유기체로서 작동한다는 논리와 생태학적 인식이 친연성을 갖고 있기 때문이다. 특히 생태 문식성과 의사소통 능력을 바탕으로 국어교육적 소통 능력에 접근하여 문법 능력을 해명할 수 있다. 문법 능력은 텍스트 소통과 통합된 문법의 이해와 탐구로 발현된다. 이에 문법과 텍스트의 복합적 관계, 곧 문법교육의 텍스트 중심성 원리를 해석하는 일은 중요하다. 텍스트 중심성은 ‘문법과 국어 활동의 연계적 통합성, 문법의 형태·의미·기능적 균형성, 문법적 활동의 실천적 실효성’을 지향해야 한다. 궁극적으로 문법교육은 문법이 표상된 텍스트, 국어 활동과의 상관적 구도 속에서 연구·실천되어야 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims at considering communicative perspectives in grammar education based on the ecological Korean language education. And it focused on understanding the text-based principle in grammar education. The ecology could be a philosophical base for founding the communicative perspectives in grammar education. Because regarding on the Korean language education as an organism keeps an affinity with the ecology. Concretely, the grammar ability is specified by Korean language communicative competence from reciprocating the ecological literacy and the communicative competence. Based on these theories, the “text-based” principle of grammar education could be interpreted. The text-based principle of grammar education is oriented toward “connectional integration between a text and grammar, balance on grammatical form·meaning·function, practical effectiveness of grammatical activity”. Ultimately the grammar ability is discussed in a combination of a text and its integrated language activities on the implementation features of the communicative perspectives in grammar education.
