국문 초록

이 연구에서는 KSL(Korean as a second language) 학습자의 쓰기 텍스트에 나타나는 문법적 오류를 학습자의 특성에 따라 분석하였다. 학습자가 작성한 총 어절 수와 오류 수가 어떤 관계가 있는지, 그리고 학습자의 특성이 오류율에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 그 결과, 전자는 총 어절 수와 오류 유형 간에 양의 상관관계, 즉 학습자가 생성한 어절 수가 길수록 오류의 수도 같이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 후자는 삼원분산분석결과, 오류율이 학습자의 특성에 따라 다양하게 나타났다. 전체 오류율과 문법 오류율에는 ‘한국어수준’과 ‘국적×한국어수준’이 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 어휘 오류율에는 ‘한국어수준’, 그리고 맞춤법 오류율에는 ‘국적’, ‘한국어수준’, ‘국적×한국어수준’이 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 이 연구에서는 한국어 학습자의 특성에 따라 나타나는 오류율을 체계적으로 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze grammar errors in the writing texts of KSL students according to their characteristics. It specifically analyzed relations between the total number of word phrases and that of errors among the students and also the effects of their characteristics on their error rates. The findings show positive correlations between the total number of word phrases and that of error types. That is, the longer their word phrases were, the more errors they tended to make. The three-way ANOVA results show various error rates according to the characteristics of learners, whose “Korean level” and “nationality × Korean level” had statistically significant effects on their overall error rates and grammar error rates. Their “Korean level” had statistically significant effects on their vocabulary error rates, and their “nationality”, “Korean level” and “nationality × Korean level” had statistically significant effects on their spelling error rates. The present study holds its significance in that it provided systematic results about the error rates of Korean learners according to their characteristics.
