유아교육기관의 조직문화와 동료장학이 교사의 전문성 발달에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육기관의 조직 문화와 동료 장학이 교사의 전문성 발달에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 경기지역에 근무하는 유아교사 150명을 대상으로 조직문화, 동료장학과 전문성 발달을 측정하여 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교사의 조직문화는 교사의 전문성발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 유아교사의 동료장학은 전문성발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 전문성발달에서 동료장학이 조직문화보다 상대적으로 영향이 높았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 교사의 전문성을 증진시키는 과정에서 조직문화와 동료장학의 중요성과 의미를 논하고, 본 연구의 제한점과 향후 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of organizational culture and peer supervision on a teacher’s professional development. Correlation and regression analyses were performed on data collected from 150 kindergarten teachers working in Gyeonggi Province on organizational culture, peer supervision, and professional development. The results of this study are as follows. First, organizational culture was positively correlated with the professional development of teachers. Second, peer supervision was also positively correlated with professional development of teachers. Third, peer supervision had a relatively higher impact than organizational culture on professional development. Based on these results, the paper discusses the meaning and significance of organizational culture and peer supervision in the process of promoting teachers’ professional development and identifies limitations of this study as well as suggestions for subsequent research.
