조망유형에 따른 상황에 대한 시비판단에서 감정의 기능

국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘대학생의 사회봉사활동 학점제’에 대한 조망유형에 따른 상황에 대한 시비판단에서 감정이 어떤 기능을 하는지를 확인하고자 했다. 이를 위해 경기도 소재 OO대학 유아교육과 1, 2학년 학생 90명이 연구에 참여했으며, 이중 설문에 불성실한 응답자 4명을 제외한 86명의 자료가 최종 분석되었다. 연구결과 첫째, 조망유형(무조망, 한쪽조망, 양쪽조망)에 따라 상황에 대한 시비판단에서 차이가 나타났다. 즉, 무조망이나 한쪽조망에 비해 양쪽조망에서 대학생의 사회봉사활동이 요구되는 상황에 대해서 대학생의 사회봉사활동 학점제를 실시하는 것이 옳고 사회봉사활동이 불필요한 상황에 대해서는 대학생의 사회봉사활동 학점제를 실시하지 않는 것이 더 옳다고 보았다. 둘째, 조망유형에 따라 대학생의 사회봉사활동 학점제를 생각할 때 유발되는 감정에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 무조망이나 한쪽조망 중 자율가치 추구 조망의 경우가 한쪽 조망 중 보람가치 추구 조망과 양쪽 조망 보다 부정적 감정이 많았다. 그리고 대학생의 사회봉사활동 학점제를 실시하는 것에 대한 전반적 태도를 보면, 자율조망의 경우는 대학생의 사회봉사활동 학점제를 실시하는 것에 대해 부정적 태도를 보인 반면, 보람조망의 경우는 긍정적 태도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 무조망과 양쪽 조망의 경우는 이들의 태도가 중립적이었다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 조망과 상황에 대한 시비판단, 감정과 시비판단 등에 대해 논의하고 연구의 제한점 등을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study sought to determine the role of emotion in making right-or-wrong judgments according to the different types of perspectives on the ‘social service college credit system.’ 90 freshmen and sophomores in the Early Childhood Education major at a university located in Gyeonggi Province participated in the study, and after 4 unreliable responses were excluded, 86 final responses were analyzed. The study showed that firstly, there was a difference in the judgment of the situation depending on the types of perspective (‘no perspective,’ ‘one perspective,’ ‘both perspectives’). In other words, those with a ‘both perspective’ type viewed the implementation of the ‘social service college credit system’ in situations that require college students to perform social service activities, as well as no implementation when unnecessary, as more ‘correct’ than those with the ‘no perspective’ or ‘one perspective’ types. Second, there were differences in the emotions evoked when college students thought about the ‘community service college credit system’ depending on the types of perspective. In the case of the autonomous value-seeking perspective among ‘one perspective’ or ‘no perspective’ types, there were more negative emotions than the rewarding value-seeking perspective among ‘one perspective’ or ‘both perspective’ types. Observing the overall attitude towards the implementation of the ‘social service college credit system’ of college students, it was found that in the case of autonomous perspective, there was a negative attitude towards its implementation, while in the case of rewarding perspective, there was a positive attitude. In the case of the ‘no perspective’ and ‘both perspective’ types, their attitude was neutral. Based on the above results, the paper discusses each perspective type’s right-or-wrong judgment patterns in different situations, the role of emotion in making a right-or-wrong judgment, etc., while suggesting certain limitations of this study.
