아동의 반려동물 양육경험에 따른 학교폭력 경험의 차이

국문 초록

최근 반려동물을 양육하는 가정이 급증하고 있으나, 반려동물이 교육에 미치는 영향은 많은 연구가 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구는 반려동물 양육에 따른 학교 폭력 경험의 차이를 알아보는 것이다. 이 목적을 위해 한국아동패널 데이터를 활용하여 분석하였다. 1,434명을 대상으로 한 설문조사 데이터를 기반으로 인구통계학적 조사와 빈도분석, 그리고 t 검정을 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 초등학교 저학년의 반려동물 유형에 따라 학교폭력 피해경험에 일부문항에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 구체적으로 반려묘 여부에 따라 학교폭력 피해경험은 키우는 집단과 그렇지 않은 집단 간에 차이가 없었고, 반려견과 기타 반려동물 여부에 따라 학교폭력 피해 경험 중 일부 문항에서 차이가 있었다. 둘째 반려동물 유형에 따라 사이버비행 가해경험에서는 모두 유의한 차이가 없었다. 결과적으로 반려동물 양육여부에 따라 피해경험에는 차이가 있었으나, 가해경험은 차이가 없었다.

영문 초록

Although the number of households raising companion animals is rapidly increasing in recent years, many studies have not been conducted on the effect of companion animals on education. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of companion animal raise to bullying experiences in children. To perform this purpose, Panel Study on Korean Children were used and analyzed. A demographic survey, frequency analysis, and t-test were performed based on the survey data of 1,434 people. Results indicated that, firstly, there were significant differences in some of the items in the experience of victimization of school violence according to the type of companion animal in the lower grades of elementary school. Specifically, there was no difference in the experience of school violence according to the presence of a cat or not, and there was a difference in some items of the experience of school violence according to the presence of other companion animals. Secondly, there was no significant difference in the cyberflight abuse experience according to the type of companion animal. As a result, there was a difference in the experience of harm depending on whether or not the companion animal was raised, but there was no difference in the experience of abuse.
