개인기업가지향성이 창업의도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 개인기업가지향성이 개인적 태도인 성취욕구와 창업교육을 통한 창업지식 습득을 매개로 창업의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝히고자 실증분석을 하였다. 본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 개인기업가지향성은 창업의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고, 개인기업가지향성은 성취욕구에 긍정적인 영향을 쳤으며, 성취욕구가 높아질수록 창업의도 또한 증가하였다. 더 나아가, 개인기업가지향성은 창업지식습득에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났으며, 창업지식습득이 증가할수록 창업의도 역시 높아졌다. 그리고, 성취욕구와 창업지식습득은 개인기업가지향성과 창업의도의 관계를 병렬 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 실무적 시사점을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업지원 시 개인기업가지향성이 높고, 성취욕구가 높은 사람들을 우선적으로 지원하는 것을 고려할 수 있다. 둘째, 창업의 성공 확률을 높이기 위해서는 개인기업지향성이 높은 사람들에게 창업교육의 기회를 더 확대하여 제공하여야 한다. 창업교육을 제공함에 있어 개인의 기업가지향성이 높은 대상의 성취욕구를 향상시키고 창업교육 프로그램을 통한 지식 습득의 기회를 더 증가시킨다면 창업이 활성화되어서 우리 사회와 경제에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study conducted an empirical analysis to investigate that individual entrepreneurship orientation positively affects entrepreneurial intention through attitudes such as the need for achievement and entrepreneurial knowledge acquisition. The results of this study are summarized as follows. Individual entrepreneurship orientation had a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. In addition, individual entrepreneurship orientation positively influenced the need for achievement, and entrepreneurial intention also increased as the need for achievement increased. It was also found that individual entrepreneurship orientation positively affected entrepreneurial knowledge acquisition, and entrepreneurial intention also increased as entrepreneurial knowledge acquisition increased. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the need for achievement and entrepreneurial knowledge acquisition parallelly mediated the relationship between individual entrepreneurship orientation and entrepreneurial intention. Based on these research results, practical implications are suggested as follows. First, when the government supports start-ups, it can be considered preferentially supporting people with high individual entrepreneurship orientation and a high need for achievement. Second, to increase the probability of start-ups’ success, entrepreneurship education opportunities should be expanded and provided to individuals with high individual entrepreneurship orientation. In providing entrepreneurship education, if the need for achievement of individuals with high individual entrepreneurship orientation is improved through the knowledge acquisition from the education program, entrepreneurship will flourish, which will positively impact our society and economy.
