다문화 청소년 학교폭력 피해 영향요인

국문 초록

이 연구는 다문화청소년의 학교폭력 피해경험에 대하여 살펴보고, 일상활동이론을 바탕으로 피해요인을 정서적· 신체적 취약성, 보호자 특성으로 구성하여 살펴보고자 한다. 우리사회는 청소년의 사회적 양태가 변화됨에 따라 다문화 청소년에 대한 학교폭력 피해현상은 더 이상 외면하여서는 안된다. 하지만 부찬주(2018)의 다문화청소년 학교폭력피해 영향요인 실증연구에서도 설명되었듯이 일반 청소년의 학교폭력피해 영향요인 연구의 역사에 비해 다문화청소년에 대한 학교폭력 피해 연구는 부족한 실정이라고 하였다. 다시말해 우리나라는 일반 청소년의 학교폭력 피해에 많은 관심을 가지고 이에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어지고 있지만, 다문화 청소년의 학교폭력 피해에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 2019년에 실시한 다문화청소년패널조사 2기에서 다문화가정 자녀를 대상으로 최종분석에 총 2,246명을 분석하여 다문화 청소년의 학교폭력 피해에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 연구 결과 다문화청소년의 학교폭력 피해의 영향요인으로 취약성, 차별피해 경험, 학교생활 어려움 수준이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 정서적·신체적 취약성이 높을수록, 차별피해 경험이 있는 경우, 학교생활 전체에 대한 어려움이 있다고 느낄수록 학교폭력 피해 경험이 있다는 것을 의미한다. 이를 바탕으로 다문화 청소년의 학교폭력 피해를 예방하기 정서적 취약성을 낮추고 학교생활 적응을 향상시킬 수 있는 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences of school violence among multicultural adolescents, and to examine the victims by organizing them into emotional and physical vulnerabilities and guardian characteristics based on the theory of daily activities As the social pattern of adolescents changes, our society should no longer turn a blind eye to the phenomenon of school violence against multicultural adolescents. However, as explained in the empirical study of factors influencing school violence damage by Bu Chan-ju (2018), studies on school violence damage in multicultural adolescents are insufficient compared to the history of studies on factors influencing school violence in general adolescents. In other words, in Korea, there is a lot of research on the damage of school violence by general adolescents, but there are not many studies on the damage of school violence by multicultural adolescents. Accordingly, this study aims to study the damage of school violence among multicultural adolescents by analyzing a total of 2,246 people in the final analysis of children from multicultural families in the second multicultural youth panel survey conducted in 2019. As a result of the study, it was found that vulnerability, experience of discrimination damage, and level of difficulty in school life were influenced by factors influencing school violence damage of multicultural adolescents. This means that the higher the emotional and physical vulnerability, the more experienced discrimination damage, and the more difficult it is for the entire school life, the more experienced school violence damage. Based on this, policy suggestions were presented to reduce the emotional vulnerability of multicultural adolescents to prevent school violence and improve their adaptation to school life.
