영문 초록

The development of intelligence information in modern society breaks boundaries between countries, shows a wealth of information about each country's unique cultural industry and creative economy through a variety of media formats, and facilitates easier acquisition of information with smart technologies. Each country's custom culture highlights the importance of traditional culture as a value-creating factor in modern society, which is beyond the cultural distinctiveness. The cultural art of each country appears, from tons of information and knowledge, in different forms through creative contents based on a country's traditional materials. This way, artistic works and cultural products expressing Korean aesthetic sense are also created in the field of metal craft using Korea's traditional materials. These lay the basis for understanding how to use traditional materials, and such understanding applies to metal formative art to design and make the lighting using traditional muntin. This study is expected to contribute to spread the excellence of Korea's traditional materials and boost the development of public-friendly metal works by using techniques, ingredients, and images of the traditional materials mirroring Korean traditional culture.
