국문 초록

본 연구는 사별 경험자를 대상으로 침습적 반추와 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 사회적 유대감의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 270명의 성인을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였고 그 중 불성실하게 응답한 설문을 제외하고 257부를 최종 자료로 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째,침습적 반추는 사회적 유대감과는 부적 관계를, 외상 후 성장과는 정적 관계를 보였고, 사회적 유대감은 외상 후 성장과 정적 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 침습적 반추는 외상 후 성장에 가장영향력이 있는 변인이었으며 그 밖에도 사회적 유대감, 성별이 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 여성보다는 남성이 그리고 침습적 반추와 사회적 유대감이 높을수록 외상 후 성장이 높은 것으로 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 침습적 반추와 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 사회적 유대감의 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 사회적 유대감이 높을수록 침습적 반추를 완화하고 외상 후 성장을 촉진하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의, 제한점 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the mediating effect of social connectedness in the relationship betweenintrusive rumination after bereavement and posttraumatic growth. For this purpose, an onlinesurvey was conducted on 270 adults, and 257 questionnaires were used as final data except forthe questionnaires that were unfaithfully answered. The results of this study are as follows. First, intrusive rumination showed a significant negative correlation with social bond, positivecorrelation with posttraumatic growth, and social connectedness had a significant positivecorrelation with posttraumatic growth. Second, the most influential variable on posttraumaticgrowth were proved to intrusive rumination, and social connectedness and gender were foundto affect posttraumatic growth. This is interpreted that men rather than women, and the higherthe intrusive ruminum and social connectedness, the higher the posttraumatic growth. Third,social connectedness were proved to mediate in the relationship between intrusive ruminationand posttraumatic growth. This can be interpreted as the higher the social connectedness, thelower the intrusive ruminating and the higher the posttraumatic growth. Based on the results ofthis study, The imitations of the study and implications for the further research were discussed.
