국문 초록

본 논문은 시각장애인를 위한 난타 교육 콘텐츠를 연구하는 것이다. 시각장애인은 일반인과 달리 시각을 통하여 정보를 검색·수행하지 못하기 때문에 교육을 하는 데 있어 많은 한계성을 드러낸다. 이런 이유로 21세기 들어와 대부분 사람이 문화를 향유하기 위한 문화예술교육 프로그램에 참여하고 있지만, 문화소외계층의 장애인들은 문화를 향유하는 데 어려움이 크다. 특히, 장애인 중에서 시각장애인은 시력의 소실로 인하여 자존감이 낮아지고 생활의 활력이 떨어지고 있다. 이에 연구자는 시각장애인에게 문화적 욕구를 해소하고 삶의 질을 높이고자 한다. 그러나 현장에서 난타 교육은 비장애인을 위한 교육프로그램이 아닌, 일반인을 위한 교육프로그램만 존재하여, 시각장애인을 위한 난타 교육에는 적합하지 않은 실정이다. 시각장애인은 청각과 촉각의 능력이 발달하고, 반대로 신체적 운동감각은 저하되어 있다. 이런 시각장애인의 장·단점을 고려한 난타 교육프로그램은 조금이나마 시각장애인의 문화적 욕구를 충족시킬 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

This study sought to develop "Nanta" education contents for the visually impaired. "Nanta" means tapping using percussion instruments. Unlike the general public, the visually impaired cannot search and use information through sight, thus suffering many limitations in education. For this reason, most people in the 21st century are participating in cultural arts education programs to improve their cultural lives, but the disabled people in the culturally marginalized class have many difficulties in enjoying cultural activities. In particular, the visually impaired have lower self-esteem and lower vitality in life due to the loss of sight. Thus, this study aims to resolve cultural needs and improve the quality of life for the visually impaired. However, Nanta education in the field is has focused on education for nondisabled people, making it unsuitable for the visually impaired. The visually impaired have developed auditory and tactile abilities, and conversely, their physical and kinesthetic senses are lowered. The Nanta education program considering the weaknesses and strengths of the visually impaired will, albeit not completely, meet the cultural needs of the visually impaired.
