국문 초록

코로나 19 장기화로 인한 노인교육의 기회 감소를 해결하고 노인 디지털문해력의 향상을 위해 노인교육기관의 ICT 기반 교육 수요가 커지고 있다. 교육적이자 예방적인 노인평생교육 학습수요가 증가함에 따라 이 분야도 다양화 및 전문화되고 있다. 교양교육의 전생애 교육 특성을 바탕으로 여러 영역의 문해 능력, 비판적 사고능력, 합리적 의사소통 능력, 인간과 사회에 대한 바람직한 가치관 정립, 융합적 창의적 문제해결, 공동체 의식과 시민정신, 심미적 공감 등의 능력을 중심으로 노인교양교육을 구분하고 이를 위한 새로운 교육적 환경이 필요하다. 메타버스는 물리적 신체적 한계를 보완하고 참여환경을 확장하거나 변형하는 등 능동적이고 포괄적인 학습 참여와 주도가 가능하기에 노인교양교육 환경으로 적합하다. 노인교양교육을 위한 ICT 기반 프로그램 접근성 향상과 역량 강화 지원, ICT에 대한 노인들의 디지털 인식 개선, ICT 기기에 최적화된 노인교양교육프로그램 개발이 요청된다.

영문 초록

In order to solve the decrease in opportunities for elderly education due to the prolonged COVID-19 and to improve the digital literacy of the elderly, the demand for ICT-based education is increasing for elderly education institutions. Lifelong education is educational and preventive for the elderly, and as the learning demand of elderly learners increases, the fields of lifelong education for the elderly are being diversified and specialised. It is necessary to distinguish liberal arts education based on literacy skills, critical thinking skills, rational communication skills, establishing desirable values for humans and society, foster convergent creative problem-solving skills, community consciousness and citizenship, and aesthetic empathy. Metaverse is very suitable for the elderly s education environment because it allows active and comprehensive participation and leadership in learning, such as supplementing physical and bodily limitations, expanding or transforming the participatory environment. It is necessary to improve accessibility and capacity building support for ICT-based programs for liberal arts education for the elderly, to improve the digital awareness of ICT among the elderly, and to develop the liberal arts education programs optimized for ICT devices for the elderly.
