국문 초록

본 연구는 후기성인학습자를 위한 수리문해 학습 효과성에 대한 평가도구를 개발하기 위한 연구로서, 후기성인학습자는 평생교육기관에서 문해 교육과정을 학습 중인 만 65세 이상인 학습자를 연구 대상으로 하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 연구방법은 기술통계를 통하여 데이터의 정규성을 확인한 후, 탐색적 요인분석을 통하여 측정모형의 적합성을, 확인적 요인분석을 통하여 구조모형의 타당성을 확인하였다. 그 결과 개발된 평가 문항의 요인은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수학 인지적 영역으로 사칙연산에 대한 문항이다. 둘째, 수학 인지적 영역으로 수학적 표상에 대한 문항이다. 셋째, 문해 교육과정에서의 수학 학습 후 돈 계산을 잘 할 수 있게 되었거나 은행, 병원 등과 같은 큰 수를 접해야 하는 장소에 가는 것이 두렵지 않게 되는 등의 일상생활에서의 정의적 영역에 긍정적인 효과를 나타내었는가에 대한 문항이다. 이들 문항에는 일상생활이 편해졌는가에 대한 문항이 포함되어 있다. 본 연구는 후기성인학습자를 위한 수리문해 학습의 목적을 삶의 질 향상에 두고 학습 효과성에 대한 평가도구를 개발하기 위한 연구이다. 또한 실생활 기반의 수리문해학습의 효과성은 일상생활에서 필요한 수리적 인지와 정의적 측면을 고려하여 현장에 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to develop numeracy evaluation instruments for late-adult learners and was conducted by setting late-adult learners who are aged 65 or older enrolled in lifelong educational institutions learning literacy education. For research methods, after confirming the normality of the data by using descriptive statistics, the study confirmed the suitability of the measurement model through exploratory factor analysis and the validity of the structural model through confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, the following are developed factors on evaluation questions. First, they are questions on the four fundamental arithmetic operations in the cognitive domain. Second, as the mathematical cognitive domain, they are questions on mathematical representation. Third, they are questions on whether there have been positive effects on affective domains of everyday life including if they can count money or no longer fear going to places where they have to deal with large sets of numbers like banks and hospitals after learning mathematics in literacy education curriculum. These questions include questions if their daily lives have become easier. Also, the effectiveness of real-life-based numeracy education is suggested considering mathematical cognition and affective domain needed in everyday life.
