중국 운남성 건수자도(建水紫陶)의 제작 기법과 사례 연구

국문 초록

도기는 선사시대 이후 인류가 창조한 비자연적 물질로 당시의 문명을 보여주는 사물 중 하나라고 할 수 있다. 신석기 시대에 양사오 문화로 출현한 독특한 채도와 신석기 말기에 등장하는 흑도기는 중국 도기 문화에서 중요한 위치에 있다. 건수자도(建水紫陶)는 오랜 제작 역사를 지닌 민족 전통 공예품이며 건수자도는 원말 명초에 출현하여 청나라에서 사랑을 받고 유행했다. 그러므로 “송에는 청자, 원에는 청화, 명에는 조도, 청에는 자도가 있다”(“宋有青瓷,元有青花,明有粗陶,清有紫陶”)는 말이 역사적으로 전해진다. 건수자도는 운남의 전통 도자기공예와 변방의 민족문화가 서로 융합된 산물이다. 자도(紫陶)는 서화를 장식 주제로 하는 조각분니(雕刻粉泥)기법과 무유마광(無釉磨光) 기법을 주요 공예로 하는 도기다. 다른 도기 작품들과 가장 큰 차이점은 반건조 상태인 기벽에다가 장식한다는 것과 음각 기법으로 문양을 만들어낸 자리에 색 화장토를 채운다는 것, 또한 유약 없이도 광택을 만들어낸다는 점이다. 본 연구는 자도기를 만든 역사적 이론적 배경과 자도의 특수 점토원료와 제작기법 및 현대 자도 공예의 사례를 정리하고 살펴보았다. 자도기의 장식예술에 대한 탐구를 통해 도자기 제작에 많은 방향을 제시하고, 다양한 예술적 요소들이 상호 보완되어 다원적으로 발전해 나갈 수 있기를 바란다.

영문 초록

Pottery was one of the first living instruments used by mankind, and was the first natural substance created and embodied human civilization at that time.The unique chado art that appeared in the Neolithic period is an important component of the Yangsao culture, and the Heukdo, which appeared in the late Neolithic period, also occupies an important position in the history of Chinese earthenware culture.Geonsujado Island is a traditional craft of the Han Chinese with a long production history, and Geonsujado Island appeared at the beginning of Wonmalmyeong and was loved and popular in the Qing Dynasty.Therefore, the phrase Song has celadon, Won has Cheonghwa, and Cheong has Jado is historically passed down. Geonsujado Island is a product of the fusion of traditional ceramic crafts in Unnam and the national culture of the outskirts. Jado is an earthenware whose main crafts are production crafts and muyumagwang crafts that fill paintings with sculptures and colored soil as decorative themes. The biggest difference from other earthenware works is that they decorate the remaining objects, fill the place where the patterns are made with intaglio techniques, and shine without glaze. This study summarized and examined the historical and theoretical background of making pottery, special soil materials, and production crafts of Jado Island. Through the exploration of the decorative art of pottery, it is hoped that many directions will be presented for ceramic production, and that various artistic elements will be complemented to develop pluralistically.
