도자기 산업분야에 있어 산학연계 방안 예비 연구

국문 초록

본 예비연구는 국내 도자관련 산업체와의 산학 연계방안 마련을 위한 연구이다 도자기 공예 (도예)는 크게 예술도자와 산업도자로 분류할 수 있다. 산업혁명 이후 도예는 이전에 가지고 있던 산업도자의 역할의 대부분을 공장 생산체제로 넘겨주었음에도 불구하고 현재 도예의 상황은 여전히 산업도자와 예술도자로 나뉘어 그 명맥을 유지하여 오고 있다. 현대의 공예는 산업혁명 이후 그 형태가 급속히 변화하여 전통적인 의미의 공예생산품들을 대부분 대량생산체제에 내어주고 있다. 현재는 귀족공예품과 소수의 명맥을 잇는 생활공예품주류를 이루고 있다. 또한 모더니즘 이후 공예의 순수미술화가 가속되어 전통적 근본적 개념에서의 공예는 점 점 위축되고 새로운 형태의 공예가 나타나고 있다. 이러한 공예의 흐름은 변화된 시대에 적응 하고 그 위치를 확보하기 위한 일련의 과정으로 해석할 수 있다. 그 중 산업도자분야의 구조는 대부분이 1~5인 이하의 공방으로 매우 열악한 구조를 보인다. 이러한 소규모 공방체제는 자본의 부족으로 인하여 R&D및 Marketing에 매우 취약한 현상을 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 산학협력의 형태을 분류하여 그 유형을 알아보고 현재 산업 도자분야의 취약성의 재고를 위한 하나의 방편으로서 디자인 분야에서 성공적인 사례 중 하나인 핀란드의 Design Research Center MUOVA의 시스템 특성인 관,산,학이 합쳐진 지역 밀착형 협업시스템, 다학제적 협업시스템 그리고 적극적인 인턴쉽의 활용 등을 분석하여 도자기분야 대학의 연구기능과 소규모 공방 기업들 간의 연계방안에 있어서 도입 가능한 개선점을 모색하여 보고자 한다.

영문 초록

This preliminary study is conducting collaboration methods between ceramic crafts industry and university. Modern crafts, after the industrial revolution, was rapidly changed their form and functions. Most of the traditional crafts products are now produced by mass production industries and only left very small portion of handcrafts production and high quality art crafts production. Since modernism era, the traditional craft has been tending to accelerate fine arts. The traditional and fundamental concept of crafts continuously shrinking and appeared new forms of crafts has been appeared. These flows of crafts production can be interpreted as the process to adapt the new era and to secure its position. Therefore Ceramics can roughly divided ceramic art and industrial ceramics. After industrial revolution, mass amount of ceramics were produced from mass manufacturing factoring system but still studio-maid ceramics are being produced. Most of the industrial ceramic manufacturers are small scale Studio Type Company which consist of 1~5 employees. (Only a few companies are capable of mass production). These small companies are usually rack of R&D and Marketing skills. The aim of this preliminary research is searching efficient methods of collaboration for small ceramics companies through analyzing Design Research Center MUOVA - one of the successful collaboration case in Finland - which have three major distinctive characters. The first one is local based research institute collaboration with local government and industry. Second one is they has multidisciplinary research system and last one is aggressive internship program.
