건축도예 미술장식품 도판개발에 관한 연구

국문 초록

도판(타일)의 기원은 이집트 왕국의 무덤 내 벽장식으로부터 그리스, 로마시대로 이어지며 우리나라 도판의 역사는 삼국시대 이전부터 분묘나 사찰등지에서 나타나고 있다. 오늘날 인간은 친환경적이며 건강한 삶을 유지하기 위하여 재료적인 측면의 노력이 거듭되고 있으며, 주거공간과 도심 속의 건물, 휴식을 취할 수 있는 공원, 개인의 취향에 의해 결정되어지는 실내공간 등 유익한 삶을 유지하기 위한 노력에도 불구하고 대표적인 환경성 질환인 아토피, 비염, 천식환자가 건강보험 평가원 자료에 따르면 2005년 1270만 건에서 2009년 2994만 건으로 증가하였음을 보여주고 있다. 경제적인 측면으로는 2008년 친환경상품전시회 보고서(환경부주체)에 의하면 친환경 건축자재시장 중 마감재시장의 규모가 2700억 정도이며 2008년 대한도자기타일협동조합 보고서에 따르면 타일 총소비량에 59.9%를 수입에 의존하고 있다고 한다. 이러한 문제들을 해소하기 위 한 방안의 일환으로 특허를 취하게 되었으며 이 기술을 이용하여 녹색 친환경 타일을 생산함으로써 원료비와 에너지 비용을 절감시키고 국가자원을 효율적으로 활용하여 가격 경쟁력이 우수한 제품을 생산하여 산업발전에 기여하고자 한다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 규격화된 대량도판을 보다 저렴한 가격으로 공급하는 것을 목적으로 하며, 첫 단계로 기존 판매되고 있는 타일과 디자인적 차별을 주고 일품생산적인 패턴을 유지하여 다양한 소비자 요구에 충족되면서도 대중에게 다가설 수 있는 디자인이여야 한다. 둘째, 본 연구의 핵심인 개선된 강화 플라스틱 성형틀을 이용하면 설비적인 부분에서 기존의 금속 시스템보다 50~70%이상 경비 절약효과를 볼 수 있으므로 보다 도판의 대중화에 쉽게 접근될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 셋째, 모든 공정이 체계적으로 원활한 대량생산을 할 수 있도록 시스템마다 성형을 위한 별 도의 제어가 가능하도록 설치하였다. 넷째, 습식의 도판 건조시 변형을 최소화하기 위하여 경사면을 고려한 별도의 건조실에서 수분에 의한, 하중에 의한 불량률을 최소화 시켰다. 다섯째, 타일상감장치(특허3)를 이용하여 수작업에 의존하던 상감기법을 대량생산될 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 단미소성으로 생산단가를 낮출 수 있었다.

영문 초록

First used as decorations on the walls of royal tombs in Egypt, tiles have been found relics in Greece and Rome. In Korea, tiles are found in graves and temples built before the period of the Three Kingdoms. Today, for environment-friendly and healthy life, people are paying attention to materials. Despite our efforts to make pleasant buildings, parks and indoor spaces, according to reports from the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service, the number of patients with environment-related diseases such as atopy, rhinitis and asthma rose from 12.7 million in 2005 to 29.94 million in 2009. According to the report of 2008 Environment-friendly Product Exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Environment, the size of finishing construction material market is KRW270 billion and the 2008 report of Korea Tile Association shows 59.9% of tiles consumed in Korea were imported. To solve this problem, we will apply for the patent and produce environment-friendly tiles to reduce material and energy costs, make the best of national resources, and develop cost-competitive products for development of the tile industry in Korea. Study results are as follows. First, To provide tiles at lower prices than standardized ones, design should be different from existing one, provide consistent patterns, satisfy various needs of customers and be attractive. Second, The enhanced plastic mold can reduce costs by 50 - 70% compared to existing metal one. This will attract more people to tiles. Third, Each system can be separately controlled so that all processes can be set up for smooth mass production. Fourth, To minimize distortion while drying wet tiles, considerations are given to slope so that faults caused by moisture in the drying chamber can be reduced to the minimum. Fifth, The conveyor belt is used to automatically decorate tiles with inlaid patterns. Also, thanks to reduced plasticity, production can be automated for lower production costs.
