국문 초록

청화(靑畵)라는 명칭은 코발트안료(Cobalt顔料)를 사용하여 기벽 위에 문양을 그리고 그 위에 투명유(透明釉)를 시유한 후 고온에서 1차 소성에 의해 남색(藍色)의 문양(紋樣)이 발색(發色)되는 유하채자기(釉下彩磁器)를 가리킨다. 청화백자(靑畵白磁)의 기원(起源)은 중국의 경우, 대체로 원대(元代)(1100)에서부터 본격적으로 시작되며 중국의 경덕진(景德鎭)에서 14세기말에 본격적인 청화백자를 완성하게 되었고 그 후 아시아시장은 물론 유럽 및 아메리카대륙에 이르기까지 전 세계의 도자기 시장을 장악하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 청화의 기원이 되는 중국을 중심으로 한·중·일의 청화백자를 재료 및 기술적 관점에서 고찰하였으며 특히 중국의 청화백자에 있어 페르시아에서 수입된 회청(回靑)과 중국내에서 채광한 오수(吳須)1)의 관계를 규명하였다. 또한 조선의 토청(土靑)과 일본산 오수(吳須)를 통하여 한·중·일 삼국의 청화백자에 미친 오수(吳須)의 역할에 대하여 논하였다. 청화기법(靑畵技法)은 주로 아리타(有田)지역의 전통기법(傳統技法)을 기본으로 도구 및 재료에 대한 이론적 정리와 채색기법을 통한 오수(吳須)의 안정된 발색을 구현하였다.

영문 초록

The title, ‘Cheonghwa(靑畵)’means a under glaze painting porcelain (釉下彩磁器) which has an blue-colored patterns by 1st round burning in the high temperature after patterns are drawn on the wall by cobalt pigment and transparent glaze is pasted on it. In case of china, a blue and white originates from the 1100’s of Won dynasty in earnest, the completion blue and white was made in from Jǐngdézhèn(景德鎭)to the end of 14th century and it came to gain not only the Asia but the Europe and America continents throughout the world. This research considered the blue and white in terms of materials and technique by Korea, China, and Japan focusing on China and especially the relation between the Hoecheong(回靑) which was imported form Persia and Osoo(吳須) which was mined in China’s blue and white was investigated. Also, the roles of Osoo(吳須) which had influenced the three nations’ blue and white were discussed through Tocheong(土靑) of Chosun and domestic Osoo(吳須) in Japan. Cheonghwa technique materializes the theoretical arrangement of tools and materials, the reproduction of coloring methods and a stable color formation of Osoo (吳須) by the experiment based on the traditional technique of Arita(有田) area in Japan.
