『조선일보』에 나타난 1920년대 식민지 조선의 역사지식장

국문 초록

본 연구는 1920년대(1920~1929) 『조선일보』의 역사 관련 기사 데이터베이스 분석을 통해 1920년대 역사지식장의 흐름을 읽어내는 것을 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로 1920년대 『조선일보』 역사 관련 기사에 대한 정량적 검토를 실시하였으며, 담론 기사와 스트레이트 기사에 대한 분석도 실시하였다. 그리고 인물·저자·레퍼런스·레퍼런스 저자·기관 등 세부 분야의 기사 등도 유형화하여 검토하였다. 마지막으로 기사에 대한 시계열별·저자별 분석을 진행을 통해 1920년대 『조선일보』의 역사인식의 특징을 검출하였다. 이런 방식으로 『조선일보』를 통해 식민지 조선의 역사지식장을 분석한 결과, 시대별로는 식민지 조선의 전대왕조이자 20세기 한국인들과 직접적으로 연결된 전사(前史)였던 조선시대 역사에 관한 관심이 비교적 높았다. 그것은 조선시대 관련한 인물들과 레퍼런스가 많이 등장하는 것으로도 증명된다. 아울러 『조선일보』를 중심으로 1920년대 역사지식장을 주도하던 인물들은 문일평, 이선근, 안재홍, 최남선 등이었다. 이 시기 역사지식장은 다양한 인물들이 경합하는 방식으로 전개되고 있었던 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to read the flow of historical knowledge filed in the 1920s through the analysis of the database of historical articles in 『Chosun Ilbo』 in the 1920s (1920~1929). Specifically, a quantitative review was carried out on historical articles in the 1920s in the 『Chosun Ilbo』 and discourse articles and straight articles were analyzed. Articles in detailed fields such as person/author/reference/reference author/organization were also categorized and reviewed. In addition, by analyzing the articles by time series and by author, the characteristics of historical recognition in the 『Chosun Ilbo』 in the 1920s were detected. As a result of analysis of the historical knowledge field of colonial Chosun through the 『Chosun Ilbo』 in this way, it was found that they were most interested in the history of Chosun Dynasty, which was the former dynasty of colonial Chosun and was directly connected with Koreans in the 20th century. The same was also proven by the fact that there were more figures and references related to Chosun Dynasty stated in the journal than those of other eras. The figures who led the historical knowledge field in the 1920s, centering on the Chosun Ilbo, were Moon Il-pyeong, Lee Seon-geun, Ahn Jae-hong, and Choi Nam-sun. During this period, the historical knowledge field was developed by various figures competing with each other.
