국문 초록

이 글에서는 근대한국학DB를 활용하여 1920년대 조선일보와 동아일보에 실린 문학관련 기사를 검토하였다. 본 작업은 기존연구에서 무작위의 말뭉치를 대상으로 한 것과 달리, 자료 수집 단계에서 선별한 한국학 기사를 대상으로 분석을 진행한다는 특징을 가진다. 1920년대라는 특정시기의 문학지형도를 그리기 위해서는 매체별 통계 및 분석이 선행되어야 하지만, 본고의 작업은 우선적으로 해당시기 언론지·민간지를 대표했던 동아일보와 조선일보로 조사범위를 한정하였다. 두 신문 또한 정치적 상황에 따라 필진의 교체가 단행되고 그에 따른 기사들의 지향점이 변화되기도 한다. 그러나 1920년 창간이후 꾸준히 발행된 기사를 통해 10년간의 추이를 온전히 살펴볼 수 있다는 점에서 당대 문학담론의 지형을 그릴 수 있는 좋은 잣대가 되리라 생각한다. 이 글에서는 먼저, 문학기사의 계량적 검토에 따른 10년간의 문학담론의 추이를 살펴본 뒤, 인물별/저자별 기사빈도와 레퍼런스 집계 등을 통해 두 신문의 기사 경향 및 기획 등을 검토하고자 한다. 1920년대 문학담론과 관련해서는 기존 비평사 연구를 비롯한 수많은 선행연구들이 존재한다. 본고는 이 같은 기존연구의 성과를 근간하여 메타데이터 수치와의 연관성을 살펴볼 예정이다. 특히, 1920년대를 대표하는 신문인 동아일보와 조선일보의 기사를 대상으로 삼은 작업인 만큼 근대 언론 및 대중매체를 중심으로 이루어졌던 담론의 생성 및 확산 등에 주목하고자 한다. 기존 연구에서 서사 장르나 이론, 사상사 등 개별적 주제로 다루어졌던 담론들을 특정 매체를 중심으로 재검토함으로서, 1920년대의 문학담론에 대한 전체적 조망과 함께 향후 연구 과제를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 삼고자 한다.

영문 초록

In this study, the literature-related articles which were published in the Chosun Ilbo and the Dong-A Ilbo in the 1920s are reviewed by utilizing the modern Korean Studies DB. Unlike previous studies which were conducted with a random corpus, this work is characterized by selecting the articles on Korean Studies according to set standards when collecting data. In order to draw a literary topographic map of a specific period of the 1920s, statistics and analysis of all media must be preceded. However, this paper prioritizes the Dong-A Ilbo and the Chosun Ilbo, which represented the media of the period. They are good standards for drawing the topography of literary discourse of the period in that it is possible to fully examine the trend of the 10-year period through the articles which were steadily published since its foundation in 1920. This study first examines the trend of literary discourse with a quantitative review of the literary articles of the period, and then reviews the articles inclination and the newspapers projects by checking the frequency of articles by person, author, and reference. With specific media at the center, by reviewing the literary discourses which existed in previous studies as individual topics such as narrative genres, narrative theories, or the history of thought, this study consequently presents future research tasks as well as a general view of the literary discourses in the 1920s.
