국문 초록

본 논문은 金道洙가 편찬한 문장 選集인 『諸家文粹』에 관한 연구이다. 이 자료는 몇 편의 序跋類 자료와 비평사 선행 연구를 통해 그 성격에 대해 짐작해왔을 뿐, 실제 現傳 여부와 소재가 명확하게 알려져 있지 않았다. 필자는 최근에 전북대학교 도서관에서 동일 書名의 자료를 확인하고 내용을 검토한 결과 失傳 자료로 여겨졌던 김도수 편 『제가문수』와 일치하는 자료임을 확신하게 되었다. 편자 김도수는 젊은 시절부터 학습 범위가 상당히 넓었다. 儒家의 범위를 벗어나 佛家와 道家를 비롯한 諸家書에 큰 관심과 애호를 보였음을 여러 자료로부터 확인할 수 있다. 이러한 애호는 오랜 기간 깊이 있는 제가서 학습과 독서로 이어졌으며, 그 결과가 다시 자신의 학습과 애호를 반영하는 문장선집 작업으로 이어졌다. 다만 이 과정에서 제가서에 대한 애호를 온전하게 드러내지 못하고, 유가의 가치관 안에서 일정 부분 타협한 결과물을 내놓은 것으로 보인다. 『제가문수』 편집 과정에서 도가와 불가의 글을 덜어내는 산정 작업을 거쳤다는 김도수의 자기 고백이 이를 방증한다. 본론에서는 새로 발굴한 전북대 소장본이 김도수 편 『제가문수』와 일치함을 입증하기 위해 다음과 같은 방식으로 논의를 진행했다. 먼저 김도수의 『제가문수』의 성격에 대해 구체적으로 언급한 스승 李德壽의 ｢諸家文粹引｣, 김도수 본인이 산정 작업을 마친 후 작성한 ｢刪定諸家文粹說｣ 등, 이 자료를 둘러싼 서발류 문장에서의 언급을 확인하고, 이를 통해 『제가문수』의 전반적인 성격을 정리하였다. 다음으로 전북대 소장 殘存本의 내용을 검토하여 그 체제와 선집의 특징이 『제가문수』와 일치함을 확인하였다. 이를 토대로 『제가문수』의 현전 여부를 확정하고 잔존본에 의거하여 완질본의 형태가 어떠했을지 재구하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This paper is a study on the collective work compiled by Kim Do-soo in the late period of Joseon. The character of this material has only been inferred through a few documents and prior research, however the actual existence and whereabouts of this material have not been clearly known. Then I recently checked and examined a book of the same title in the library of Chonbuk University. And I became convinced that it was a material consistent with Kim Do-soo’s edition, which was considered to be disappeared. Kim Do-soo, known to compiler of this book, had a fairly wide range of learning from a young age. It can be confirmed from various sources that he showed great interest and affection for the books of the Buddhist family and the Dao family. This affection has led to in-depth study and reading of books for a long time, which in turn led to a selection of prose that reflect one s own learning and love. However, in the process, he did not fully express his love, and it seems that he came up with a compromised result within the values of Confucianism. The self-confession of Kim Do-soo that he went through the compilation of removing the Taoist and Buddhist texts proves this. In this article, the discussion was conducted in the following manner to prove that the newly discovered copy of Chonbuk National University’s collection is consistent with Kim Do-soo’s edition of Jegamunsoo. First, in the subordinate sentences surrounding this material written Lee Deok-soo and Kim Do-soo himself after completing the compilation. The comments were confirmed, and through this, the overall character of Jegamunsoo was summarized. Next, by examining the contents of Chonbuk National University s collection, it was confirmed that the system and the characteristics of the anthology were consistent with Jegamunsoo. Based on this, it was attempted to determine the existence or not of Jegamunsoo and to reconstruct what the form of the finished version would have been based on the remaining copies.
