비대면 수업에 대한 대학생 인식도 조사연구

국문 초록

코로나-19 팬데믹 이후 2020학년도 1학기부터 대학 및 각급 학교 수업의 상당 부분이 비 대면으로 이루어지고 있다. 이로 인하여 수업의 질 저하, 학습격차, 소통의 부재 등 다양한 문제점들이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 비대면 수업에 대한 인식도를 조사 분석하고 이를 토대로 수업 성취도 제고를 위한 비대면 수업의 개선방안을 제시함에 있다. 연구대상은 충남 소재 4년제 A 대학교 재학생 7,997명과 전임교수 195명이다. 연구 결과 학생들은 비대면 수업이 대면 수업에 비해 수업 자료의 전달력이 약하다고 느끼면서도, 비대면 수업에 대해 전반적으로 만족하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 학생들이 동영상 강의를 반복해서 시청할 수 있어 학습 효과를 높일 수 있기 때문으로 조사되었다. 또한 학생들은 온라인 자료를 통해 정보를 얻는데 익숙하나, 대부분의 교수들은 강의를 준비하는 부담을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 개선방안으로는 수업성취도 제고를 위해 다양한 방법으로 교수와 학생 간의 상호작용이 더 많이 이루어져야 하고, 다각적인 형태의 수업 지원 활동이 수반되어야 한다. 아울러 교수들은 비대면 수업의 질적 향상을 위한 양질의 영상자료 제작 및 전달 능력 제고에 주력하여야 한다.

영문 초록

Since the first semester of the 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic, a significant portion of classes at universities and schools have been conducted non-face-to-face. The study involved four-year A university 7,997 students and full-time 195 professors in Chungnam Province. As a result, various problems such as deterioration of class quality, learning gap, and lack of communication are emerging. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze college students perception of non-face-to-face classes and suggest way to improve class achievement based on the research results. As a result of the study, it was found that students were generally satisfied with the non-face-to-face class, although they felt that the delivery of class materials was weaker than that of the face-to-face class. This is because students can watch video lectures repeatedly, which can increase the learning effect. In addition, although students are accustomed to getting information through online materials, it was found that most professors have the burden of preparing lectures. For improvement of class quality, more interaction between professors and students should be made in various ways, and it should be accompanied by securing various types of class activities. In addition, professors should focus on improving their ability to produce and deliver high-quality video materials to improve the quality of non-face-to-face classes.
