Due to industrial development in modern society, architecture have emerged rapidly excluding the natural environment. Also to reduce the cost, Sick Building Syndrome and Sick House Syndrome has caused the phenomenon by using the lowest cost finishes harmful to humans. The purpose of this paper is aimed to suggest a chair design using high-frequency techniques toward green growth. Bent wood is a timber which transforms the form artificially and technique of bent wood is divided into Solid Bent Wood and Laminated Bent Wood. There are a Strip Laminated Bent Wood and a Moulded Plywood in Laminated Bent Wood. To illustrate characteristics of epoch in bent wood as follows: Thonet No.14 is a origin of Solid Bent Wood, which is created by Michael Thonet. The techniques of the mold get enframed by heating into vapor without the use of adhesives. On the other hand, there is less reliance on mechanical in Laminated Bent Wood. Also, three-dimensional molding techniques (Moulded Plywood) is created by Charles Ray Eames processing techniques. This is a thin veneer which is laminated into the vertical direction with putting a adhesive and then by squeezing in a molding frame.
After that, we can produce the desired product using a wooden pattern and a mold. That s way, High Frequency Heating Moulded Techniques require a crafted and wooden molds absolutely to reduce the risk of a second variant transformation.
The benefits of this process as follows: First, it is a way of bond adhesive technology and processing technology and the expert s knowledge are bound to be obtained through extended research development and production experience. Second, it is a eco-friendly way that did not emit formaldehyde by using the natural bond in processing method.
According to, we suggest a high-frequency wood chair design in the development of design about this paper as a activities of the user, eco-friendly method.
