사전실습에 대한 중등예비교사의 인식 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 사전실습에 대한 예비교사의 인식을 탐색하고 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 본 연구에서는 사전실습 과정을 이수한 예비교사들로부터, 사전실습에 대한 은유적 표현을 수집하였으며 이를 바탕으로 바림직한 사전실습 방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서는 사전실습 과목으로 개설된 ‘학교현장실습Ⅰ’(15주, 1학점)을 이수한 예비교사들로부터 질적자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구에서는 메타포 기반의 질적 자료 분석 방법으로 수집한 자료를 분석하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 자료 수집 및 코딩부터 범주화까지 분석과정에 대한 엄격성과 신뢰성 높이기 위해, 은유 명명, 분류, 분석단위 결정, 범주화와 같은 4단계를 거치면서 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 예비교사들은 사전실습의 의미를 정규실습의 체계적인 준비과정으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비교사들은 사전실습의 의미를 정규실습 및 교직생활의 필수과정로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비교사들은 사전실습을 성찰 및 변화의 과정으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 예비교사들은 사전실습의 의미를 성과와 관련하여 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 상기의 연구결과를 바탕으로, 교원양성기관에서의 사전실습이 바람직한 방향으로 나아가기 위한 실제적인 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the current study is to explore the perceptions of pre-service teachers about prior practicum program and to present implications. In this study, metaphorical expressions for prior practicum program were collected from pre-service teachers who completed the pre-practice course, and a desirable pre-practice plan was proposed. In this study, qualitative data were collected from pre-service teachers who completed School Field Practice I (15 weeks, 1 credit) offered as a prior practicum course. In this study, the collected data were analyzed using a metaphor-based qualitative data analysis method. In particular, in this study, to increase the validity and reliability of the analysis process from data collection and coding to categorization, data were analyzed through four steps: metaphor naming, classification, analysis unit determination, and categorization. As a result, first, it was found that pre-service teachers who participated in this study acknowledged prior practicum program as a systematic preparation process for regular practice. Second, it was found that the pre-service teachers who participated in this study recognized prior practicum program as an essential course for regular practice and teaching life at the school field. Third, it was found that the pre-service teachers who participated in this study perceived prior practicum program as a process of reflection and change. Fourth, it was found that pre-service teachers who participated in this study recognized prior practicum program in relation to performance. In this study, on the basis of the above research results, theoretical and practical methods for the correct advancement of prior practicum program in teacher training institutions were proposed.
