영문 초록

The traditional furniture in Chosun Dynasty was manufactured by the weave technique that adhesives were rarely used. Among these weaves, they are divided between the cover-up type concealed inside and the visible type shown with the naked eyes. The visible type weave contains the formative characteristic in itself. They are the miter joint with the continuity of lines, the lapped dovetail joint with the repetitive pattern, the wedge mortise joint dividing the section of point newly, and the cutting and hammering wedges with the symmetric beauty protruded. This study is to highlight the furniture in Chosun Dynasty again, investigating those formative characteristics.
