중장년 1인가구의 음주와 고립감이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 주거욕구를 비롯한 복합적인 서비스 욕구를 가진 중장년 1인가구를 대상으로 음주와 고립감이 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 관계에서의 우울의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 2021년 7월 15일부터 11월 16일까지 서울시 관악구 고시원 밀집지역로 일컬어지는 5개 동에 거주하는 중장년 1인 가구 대상 면대면 설문조사를 실시하여 총 213사례의 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구의 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 주요 변수의 인구통계학적 변수의 차이검증을 실시한 결과, 성별에 따라 음주정도는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였고, 교육수준, 배우자유무, 빈곤여부에 따라 고립감에 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 그리고 최종모형의 경로를 검증하였고, 매개효과 검증을 위해 부스트래핑을 실시한 결과, 고립감에 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 우울의 매개효과와 음주정도가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 우울의 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 1인가구의 음주와 고립감 경감을 위한 우울 예방책 마련에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of depression on the association between drinking and isolation and life satisfaction among middle-aged one-person households who have complex service needs including housing needs. The subjects of this study were 213 adults as middle-aged(aged from 40 to 64) one-person households living in five dongs, which are called the GOSIWON dense area in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. The data of this study collected through face-to-face survey from July 15 to October 30, 2021. The research results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of examining the difference in the demographic variables of the main variables, there was a statistically significant difference in the degree of drinking according to the gender, and a statistically significant difference in the feeling of isolation according to the education level, the presence of a spouse, and the presence of poverty. Second, the research model was set as a saturated model, and the most suitable model was verified based on the difference in fit between competing models. Third, the path of the final model was verified, and as a result of bootstrapping to verify the mediating effect, the mediating effect of depression on the effect of isolation on life satisfaction and the mediating effect of depression on the effect of drinking on life satisfaction The effect was found to be statistically significant. Our findings suggest social services for depression based on these research results.
