국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년들의 학업스트레스와 우울의 관계에서 인터넷게임중독과 자기효능감의 조절된 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 스마트폰을 사용하는 전국 중ㆍ고등학생들을 대상으로 2018년 8월 8일부터 8월 16일까지 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 총 811명이 분석대상에 사용되었다. SPSS와 PROCESS Macro를 사용하여 매개효과, 조절효과, 조절된 매개효과를 분석한 결과는 첫째, 학업스트레스와 우울의 관계에서 인터넷게임중독의 부분 매개효과가 확인되었다. 둘째, 인터넷게임중독과 우울의 관계에서 자기효능감의 조절효과가 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 셋째, 학업스트레스가 우울에 미치는 과정에서 인터넷게임중독이 매개하며, 게임중독과 우울의 관계는 자기효능감이 조절하는 것으로 나타나 조절된 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의, 개입방안 활성화 그리고 제한점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the moderated mediating effects of internet game addiction and self-efficacy in the relationship between academic stress and depression in adolescents. For this purpose, from August 8 to 16, 2018, an online survey of smartphone owners among middle and high school students was carried out and a total of 811 data was used for the final analysis. Data was analyzed using SPSS and PROCESS Macro, the results of the analyzing the mediating effect, the moderating effect, and the moderated mediating effect are as follows, first, the partial mediating effect of internet game addiction was confirmed in the context of academic stress and depression. Second, the moderating effect of self-efficacy was statistically significant in the relationship between internet game addiction and depression. Third, internet game addiction mediated the process of academic stress on depression, and the relationship between internet game addiction and depression was the regulated by self-efficacy, confirming the moderated mediating effect. Based on the above research results, the implications on the study, activation of intervention methods, and limitations were discussed.
