북한이탈여성의 남한정착에 나타난 심리적응과정분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 9명의 북한이탈여성이 남한정착 과정에서 경험하는 실존적 존재로서의 심리적응과정 특징을 밝히고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 근거이론을 기반으로 한 연구분석결과, 북한이탈여성들의 심리적응과정은 총 52개의 개념, 20개의 하위범주와 10개의 범주로 나뉘었다. 선택코딩에 근거하여 분석한 결과, 북한이탈여성의 남한정착 과정에서 느끼는 심리적응단계는 5단계로 나뉘어지는데 각 단계는 1) 억압과 폭력에 대한 두려움과 공포, 2) 현실인식과 자유추구 의지발현, 3) 본래적 자기와 비본래적 자기로서 느끼는 양가감정, 4) 지지자원에 의한 자기돌봄 필요성 인식, 5) 타인돌봄 지향으로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 북한이탈여성의 남한정착과정에서 경험하는 심리적응과정을 분석함으로써 이들에 대한 긍정적이고 실존적 인간관의 이해와 더불어 향후 이들을 위한 상담학적 접근의 방향성과 필요성을 제시하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is about how to experience psychological adaptation process as an existential self of 9 North Korean defector women during settling in South Korea. The data collected from the data through Focus Group Interview(FGI), After analyzing the data based on Grounded theory, 52 concepts, 20 subcategories, and 10 categories are elicited from the phenomenological results of North Korea Defector Women. As a result of the analysis based on the selection coding, the psychological adaptation stage is divided into five stages. Each stage is 1) Panic and fear of oppression and violence, 2) expression of awareness of reality and willingness to pursue freedom, 3) Authentic self and ambivalent feelings felt as non-Authentic self, 4) Recognizing the need for self-care based on support resources, 5) Willing to take care of others. This study analyzes the psychological adaptation process experienced by North Korea defectors in the process of settling in South Korea, in addition to understanding of positive and existential human views on them, and presenting the direction and feel of the counseling approach for them in the future.
