중국 관내지역 독립운동 관련 회고록 현황과 사료적 가치

국문 초록

이 글은 중국 관내지역 독립운동 관련 회고록을 독립운동 계열별로 나누어회고록 현황 및 주된 내용을 간략하게 소개하며 그 사료적 가치를 살펴보았다. 결과 1920년대 중국 관내지역 독립운동에 관한 회고록은 임정 및 상해지역에집중된다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 그래서 전체 회고록에서 차지하는 비중이크지는 않지만 북경, 광주 등 비상해지역 독립운동을 기억하는 장건상, 김성숙, 김산 등의 회고록은 남다른 사료적인 가치를 지닌다. 아나키즘 운동계열에 관한회고록 가운데 해방 이후 한국에서 생활한 정화암, 박기성, 이규창 등 인사들은본인이 체험한 것을 상세하게 기술했다. 반면에 해방 후 중국에 남은 류자명, 유기석의 경우는 학계에서 밝혀진 것보다 훨씬 간략하게 기술했다. 류자명의 경우는 본인이 주도했던 의열투쟁을 간략하게 적거나 아예 생략했다. 이를 통해회고록은 집필 당시의 정치 환경의 영향을 불가피하게 받는다는 것을 알 수있다. 한국광복군에 관한 회고록이 많은 비중을 차지하는데, 그중에서도 일본군을탈출하거나 중국 현지에서 입대한 인사들의 것이 유난히 많다. 그동안 학계에서크게 주목받지 못한 이들의 회고록을 통해 광복군 대원들의 입대 경위 및 활동상 등을 더 다양하고 폭넓게 조명할 수 있을 것이다. 운동계열을 불문하고 공통으로 다루는 사건, 인물, 단체들이 있는데 이들에 대한 비교 분석을 통해 역사의진실을 좀 더 정확하게 밝혀낼 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 조선의용대(군)의 활약에 비해 한국에서 간행된 관련 회고록은 많지 않다. 이는 조선의용대(군)에서 활동했던 인사들이 해방 후 중국에 남거나 북한으로넘어간 것과 관련이 있다. 향후 중국에서 간행한 좌익계열 독립운동가들의 회고록을 확보해 한국 학자 및 대중에게 알릴 필요가 있다. 단행본으로 간행된 회고록이나 자서전 외 본인의 독립운동 경험을 신문이나 잡지에 발표한 경우도 적지 않다. 그러나 이들 글은 대부분 해방 직후부터 1970년대까지에 집중되어있어 원문 열람조차 쉽지 않는 상황이다. 이들을 한데 모아 단행본이나 자료집으로 출간하게 된다면 역사연구에 도움이 될 것이다. 그리고 연구자 사이에 사료로 활용되고 있는 원고본 회고록들도 있는데 이들을 정식 간행하여 더 많은연구자와 대중들이 이용할 수 있게 해야 한다.

영문 초록

Through this article, it was confirmed that the memoirs on the independence movement in China in the 1920s were concentrated in the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea and Shanghai. Therefore, memoirs such as Jang Geonsang, Kim Seongsook, and Kim San, who remember the independence movements in Beijing and Gwangju, have extraordinary historical value. Among the memoirs on the Anarchist movement, Jeong hwaam, Park Kisung, who lived in Korea after liberation from Japan, described in detail what they experienced. On the other hand, Ryu Jamyung and Yoo Kiseok, who remained in China after Korean liberation, described their Anarchism activities much more briefly or did not mention them at all. Through this, it can be seen that the memoir was inevitably influenced by the political environment. Many of the memoirs about the Korean Liberation Army include those who escaped from the Japanese army. Through their memoirs, it will be possible to further investigate the details and activities of the members of the Liberation Army. It is expected that the truth of history can be revealed more accurately through comparative analysis of events, people, and organizations commonly recorded in memoirs. Compared to the performance of Korean volunteers Army, there are not many related memoirs published in Korea. In the future, it is necessary to secure related memoirs published in China and inform the Korean academic community and the public. There are many cases where one s experiences in the independence movement are published in newspapers or magazines. However, most of them have been published for a long time, so even reading the original text is not easy. Therefore, publishing them as books or archives will be helpful for historical research. In addition, there are also manuscript memoirs used among researchers, which should be officially published to make them available to more researchers and the public.
