어머니의 주관적 안녕감과 초등학생 자녀의 그릿의 관계

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 고학년 자녀와 그 어머니를 대상으로 그들의 주관적 안녕감이 어머니 의 양육태도와 자녀의 그릿에 유의한 영향을 미치는지, 주관적 안녕감의 세대 간 전이가 일어나는지 그리고 그 과정을 양육태도가 매개하는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국아동·청소년패널조 사(KCYPS 2018)의 2차 패널자료를 사용하여 초등학생 자녀와 어머니의 응답이 모두 있는 2,417명 의 데이터를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 어머니의 주관적 안녕감은 어머니의 긍정적 양 육태도를 향상시켰고, 자녀의 주관적 안녕감은 자녀의 그릿을 향상시켰다. 둘째, 어머니의 주관적 안녕감은 자녀의 주관적 안녕감에 직접적 영향을 미쳤을 뿐만 아니라 양육태도를 통해 간접영향을 미쳐 세대 간의 전이가 발생함을 확인하였다. 셋째, 어머니의 주관적 안녕감이 자녀의 그릿에 이르 는 직접경로는 유의하지 않았지만, 양육태도를 매개로 하는 경로, 자녀의 주관적 안녕감을 매개로 하는 경로, 양육태도와 자녀의 주관적 안녕감을 순차적으로 매개하는 경로의 모든 간접 경로가 유의 하였다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 논의를 진행하고 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine whether mother subjective well-being significantly affects the mother s parenting attitude and the child s grit, whether the intergenerational transition of subjective well-being occurs, and whether parenting attitude mediates the process. To this end, the secondary panel data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS 2018) were used to analyze using data from 2,417 people with responses from both elementary school children and mothers. As a result of the study, first, the subjective well-being of the mother improved the mother s positive parenting attitude, and the subjective well-being of the child improved the grit of the child. Second, it was confirmed that the subjective well-being of the mother not only directly affected the subjective well-being of the child, but also indirectly affected though the parenting attitude, resulting in a transition between generations. Third, the direct path from the mother s subjective well-being to the child s grit was not significant, but all indirect paths from the path through parenting attitude, the path through the child s subjective well-being, and the path through sequentially mediating parenting attitude and the child s subjective well-being were significant. Based on the above results, discussions were conducted and suggestions were made for follow-up research.
