국문 초록

본 연구의 배경은 4차 산업 발달 기술 중 가장 많은 화두가 되고 있는 인공지능의 기술적 의미와 기술 종류를 명확히 하고, 이를 바탕으로 산업 전반에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 정의할 필요가 있다는 것에서 시작되었다. 인공지능 서비스의 기술 활용은 우리가 생각하는 것 보다 더욱 긴밀하고 넓게 우리 주변의 다양한 서비스에서 활용되어지고 있는 반면, UX디자인 분야에서는 기본적인 기술에 대한 이해도도 매우 낮은 편일뿐만 아니라 해당 기술을 바탕으로 한 활용에 대한 방향도 못잡고 있는 듯하다. 이에 인공지능 기술과 활용 분야에 대한 관계를 정립하는 것은 UX디자인 관점에서 매우 필요한 요건이라고 판단되었으며, 기술들을 이해하고 유익하게 활용하는 역할을 하는 것이 우리의 자세이자 책임이라고 생각되었다. 이 연구는 인공지능기술의 원리와 빅 데이터와의 관계를 정리하고 어떤 서비스로까지 이어지는지에 대해 연구함으로써 향후 UX디자인 분야에서 어떠한 역량과 방향을 가져가야할 지에 대해 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 연구의 방법론으로는 데이터 수집과 테스트의 한계로 인해 문헌연구와 사례조사를 통해 진행하였으며, 그 중 인공지능 기술을 활용한 빅데이터와 인공지능 서비스 플랫폼을 중심으로 진행하였다. 향후 미래 디자인에 대한 기술적 해석과 발상에 도움이 되길 기대하며, UX디자이너로써의 역량과 통찰력에 대해 재조명되는 계기가 되길 바란다.

영문 초록

The background of this study began with the need to clarify the technical meaning and type of technology in artificial intelligence, which is the most talked about among the 4th industrial development technologies, and to define how it affects the industry as a whole. While the use of technology in artificial intelligence services is being used more closely and widely than we think, in the UX design field, understanding of the basic technology is also very low, and the direction of its use based on that technology seems to be poor. It was judged that establishing the relationship between AI technology and utilization areas is a very necessary requirement from the UX design perspective, and that it is our position and responsibility to understand and utilize the technologies wisely. The study aims to outline the principles of artificial intelligence technology and its relationship to big data and show what capabilities and directions to take in the future UX design area by studying what services it leads to. The methodology of this study was conducted through literature research and case studies due to limitations in data collection and testing, and was centered on big data and AI service platforms using artificial intelligence technology. Hopefully, it will help us interpret and think about future designs, and it will serve as an opportunity to reflect on our capabilities and insights as UX designers.
