영문 초록

Recently, the number of children has decreased due to the persistent low birth rate, but the number of consumers who want to make a separate place for their children is increasing. And with various play and learning activities indoors, various types of storage furniture for vari-ous learning and entertainment items are needed more than in the past, and actual consumption is increasing. In addition to the simple storage function, storage furniture needs to be developed considering the development of age groups. In addition to the function for children to take out, organize and store things on their own, the choice of storage furniture to stimulate play and imagination is important. Therefore, it is necessary to develop furniture that is easy for children to organize and take out on their own, and that enables recognition and emotional development by taking into account the development of each age group. Therefore, we carried out research to suggest basic data and storage furniture type for development of children’s storage furniture suitable for each age group. For this purpose, the elements of consideration for the design of children’s storage furniture by age group were correctly identified, and the products of children’s storage furniture in Korea and abroad were checked as a whole, and the design types were ana-lyzed by dividing them into infants and school children. Comparing domestic and overseas product types, the items to be supplemented and improved for future development of storage furniture for different age groups were presented.
