｢いたす｣系の謙譲語の使用実態: 国会会議録を資料として

국문 초록

本稿は、｢いたす｣系の謙譲語の使用実態を把握しようとしたものであ る。国会会議録検索システムから｢いたす｣の用例を取得し、分析ㆍ考察を行った結果は以下のようである。 ①｢お/ご｣の付かない｢―いたす｣は｢漢語名詞＋いたす｣と助詞を介する形で、サ変動詞専用に用いられる。漢語名詞に付く｢いたす｣は使用頻度が高く、生産的に運用されていることが観察された。②｢お/ご―いたす｣はサ変以外の動詞に対応する形で、主に｢お＋和語動詞の連用形＋いたす｣が現れ、｢ご＋漢語名詞＋いたす｣の使用は限られている。また、一部の頻度上位の語が集中的に用いられる傾向が強い。③外来語や副詞、｢拝∼｣型の謙譲語語彙なども｢いたす｣に接続するが、使用例はごくわずかである。④今回のデータから｢―いたす｣と｢お/ご―いたす｣の選択要因として、敬語的性質の違いは明確に見えない。｢いたす｣系の謙譲語は、改まった丁重な表現として選択され、会議における慣例的な運用が観察された。

영문 초록

This paper examines the actual use of Itasu-type Kenjogo. The survey was conducted based on the diet record search system to search examples containing “ITASU”. The results of the present research are as follows: ① “-Itasu” without the “o/go” prefixes is used exclusively for suru-verbs, in the form with a Chinese noun or a particle. It has been observed that “-itasu” attached to Chinese nouns is used frequently and productively. ② “O/go-itasu” is used mainly as in “o + the pre-masu form of a Japanese verb + Itasu”, and the use of “go + Chinese noun + Itasu” is limited. In addition, there is a strong tendency to concentrate on some words with higher frequencies. ③ Some loan words, adverbs, and humble words like starting with “hai (拝)” are also connected to “itasu”, but only a few cases are attested. ④ From these data, the difference in honorific properties between “-itasu” and “o/go-itasu” was not clearly seen. Itasu-type kenjogo was chosen as a formal and polite expression, and the conventional use of it was observed in meetings.
