국문 초록

드라마에서 시간과 공간은 여타의 문학 장르와 달리 제한을 받는다. 왜냐하면 드라마는‘무대공간’과‘상연 시간’이라는 물리적으로 제한된 시공간을 전제로 창조되는 특이한 형태의 문학 장르이기 때문이다. 따라서 극작가는 애초에 무대의 요구에 따라 언어 텍스트의 크기 자체를 부득이 한정시키며, 행위의 시간 역시 무대의 시간 틀에 엄격히 부합하도록 창조한다. 그래서 19세기 이전까지 고전 드라마들은‘하루의 시간, 하나의 장소, 하나의 사건’이라는 이른바‘삼일치의 법칙’을 지키면서 시공간을 제약하였다. 불가코프는 10편이 드라마를 창작하였는데, 한가지 주목할 점은 10편의 드라마 모두 시공간의 변형 스펙트럼이 매우 폭넓고 자유롭고 특이하다는 것이다. 그 중에서도 특히『도주』,『극락』,『이반 바실리예비치』에서의 시공간은 희곡 작품에서 흔히 볼 수 없는 다양하고 폭넓은 시공간을 보여준다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 불가코프 드라마투르기에 나타난 시공간의 문제를 위에 언급한 세 작품 즉, 『도주』,『극락』,『이반 바실리예비치』를 중심으로 시공간의 문제를 종합적으로 고찰해보고자 한다. 이 세 작품은 드라마에서 흔치 않은‘꿈’과‘타임머신’을 모티브로 한 작품인데, 이를 통해 불가코프가 어떠한 형태로 시공간을 변형시켰는지 살펴볼 것이다.

영문 초록

Unlike other literary genres, time and space are limited in drama. This is because drama is a unique type of literary genre that is created on the premise of physically limited time and space of ‘stage space’ and ‘performance time’. Therefore, the playwright inevitably limits the size of the language text itself according to the needs of the stage in the first place, and creates the time of the action to strictly conform to the time frame of the stage.So, until the 19th century, classical dramas restricted time and space while keeping the so-called Rule of Trinity of time of day, one place, one event . Bulgarkov created 10 dramas. One thing to note is that all of the 10 dramas have a very wide, free and unique transformation spectrum in time and space. Among them, the space and time in 『Escape』, 『Paradise』, and 『Ivan Vasilijejechi』 show a wide variety of time and space that is not often seen in his plays. Therefore, in this paper, the problem of space and time in Bulgarkov s dramaturgy is to be comprehensively considered, focusing on the above-mentioned three works, 『Escape』, 『Paradise』, and 『Ivan Vasilyevich』. These three works have motifs of ‘dream’ and ‘time machine’, which are rare in dramas, and through this, we will examine how Bulgarkov transformed time and space.
