성인문해교육 인식체제 분석을 통한 정규학교 도입 방안 제시

국문 초록

지역의 중심에 위치한 학교는 인적·물적 자원을 활용하여 헌법에서 규정한 국민의 교육권을 충족시킬 수 있는 평생교육의 장으로 활용하기에 매우 적합한 시설과 접근이 용이한 좋은 조건들을 구비하고 있다. 하지만 그럼에도 불구하고 대부분의 성인 문해교육이 평생교육시설, 도서관 등 학교가 아닌 지방자치단체의 부속기관 또는 위탁교육기관 등지에서 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초‧중학교에서 성인 문해교육이 이루어지지 않는 이유를 알아보기 위해 교육정책을 수립하는 교육부 및 17개 시도교육청의 5급이상 교육행정직공무원(사무관)과 초‧중학교 예비관리자인 장학사들을 대상으로 그 인식에 대한 설문조사를 실시하고, 이를 분석하여 학교 밖 공간에 치중되어 있는 성인 문해교육이 초중학교로 확대되려면 어떠한 방안이 마련되어야 하는지를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

As The school located in the center of the province is equipped with facilities and accessibility suitable for use as a place for lifelong education, which can serve as a forum for citizens to fulfill their education rights guaranteed by the constitution. However, most adult literacy education is carried out at institutions affiliated with local autonomous entities, such as lifelong educational facilities, libraries, rather than educational institutions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the reason why adult literacy education is not conducted in elementary and junior high schools. The questionnaires were conducted on the senior officials of the Ministry of Education and Administrative Affairs, and the preliminary supervisors of elementary and junior high schools. I analyzed the results and suggested what kind of measures should be taken in order to utilize the space of elementary and junior high school for adult literacy education focused on facilities outside the school.
