국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 고학년의 학업적 지연행동 개선을 위한 집단상담 프로그램을 구안하고 실시하여 프로그램의 효과를 검증하는데 있다. 프로그램의 구안과정은 박인우의 체계적인 상담 프로그램 개발 모형에 따라 조사, 분석, 설계, 구안의 과정을 거쳤으며, 잠정적으로 구안된 프로그램에 대한 이론 전문가와 현장 전문가의 자문을 바탕으로 프로그램을 수정ㆍ보완하여 총 11회기의 프로그램을 구안하였다. 프로그램 효과 검증은 경상남도 소재의 G초등학교 5학년 2개 학급을 대상으로 실험집단과 통제집단을 각각 30명씩 구성하였다. 실험집단에게는 집단상담 프로그램을 주 2회씩 총 11회기를 실시하였다. 검사도구는 최윤정과 김성회(2008)가 개발한 초등학교 고학년용 학업적 지연행동 척도를 사용하였다. 자료처리는 혼합변량분석(Mixed ANOVA)을 통해 통계적 분석을 하였다. 그 결과 학업적 지연행동 개선 집단상담 프로그램은 초등학교 고학년의 학업적 지연행동 개선에 효과가 있었다. 본 연구는 초등학교 고학년의 학업적 지연행동 개선을 위하여 이들의 발달적 특성을 고려하고, 인지적, 정서적, 행동적 전략을 복합적으로 적용한 집단상담 프로그램을 개발했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a group counseling program to improve academic procrastination of elementary school students in upper grade and to assess its validity by implementing it. For this research, the students in 5th grade from G elementary school located in Gyeongsangnam-do province participated in this study. They were divided into two groups; 30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group. The implementation of the program was conducted two times per week, totalling 11 sessions. The test tool was-Academic Procrastination Scale for Upper Grade Elementary School Students-of Yun-Jung, Choi & Seong-Hoi, Kim (2008). The results obtained from this research are as follows. There were some significant differences in improvements of the academic procrastination between the experimental group and the control group. The implication of this research is that it provide a group counseling program which is suitable for the developmental characteristics of upper graders in elementary school and that is included the ‘Cognitive’, ‘Affective’, and ‘Behavioral’ factors. It can be a good material for the life guidance in elementary school as well.
