안전한 도시환경을 위한 도시 물리적 환경요인의 아동친화도 조사연구

국문 초록

도시의 인구는 급격하게 증가하고, 도시의 모습은 발전을 거듭하며 변화하였다. 도시는 점차 발전하고, 양적인 성장과 동시에 사회적 약자계층인 아동을 위한 배려가 필요하다. 외부 공간의 위험도 증가, 아동을 위한 놀이공간의부재, 공기 오염 등은 아동을 위협하고 있고 아동의 성장 및 발달 등을 도울도시 내 환경적 필요성을 요구한다. 특히 안전한 도시를 위한 범죄예방설계에가치를 두고, 아동친화도시에 대한 연구를 진행할 필요가 있다. 정부 및 지자체 차원에서 아동친화도시 사업이 활발히 진행되고 있지만, 아동친화적인 도시의 물리적 환경 요인에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 서울시 25개 행정구를 대상으로 도시의 물리적 환경 요인에 대한 아동친화적 종합지표 를 파악하였다. 선행연구를 통하여 아동친화적 물리적 환경요인에 대한 평가지표를 6개의 영역 14개 하위지표로 구분하고, 중요도 산출을 위하여 AHP를 적용하였다. 25개 행정구별 아동친화도 종합평가지표 결과를 파악함으로 인해, 도시 내 위험 노출로 부터의 개선 방안 등을 논의하고, 아동이 안전한 도시를 구현하는데 필요한 자료를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Urban population exponentially increases, and outlooks of cities keep going through changes with continuing advancements. With continuous urban developments, further considerations need to be taken for the sake of children, a socially disadvantaged group, concurrently with the quantitative growths. Children are threatened by increasing risks of outdoor space, lack of play space for children and air pollutions, which led to the environmental needs within cities in order to help growth and development of children. Especially, it needs to conduct studies on child-friendly cities by placing higher values on crime-prevention designs to ensure safety cities. Though child-friendly city projects are being engaged in at the level of the State Government and local governments, we still need to study on physical environment factors concerning child-friendly cities. Subsequently, this study examined the comprehensive child-friendly indicators with regard to physical environment factors of cities based on 25 administrative gu’s in the City of Seoul. Looking into preceding studies, this study subdivided the physical environment factors for child-friendliness into 6 sections and 14 sub-indicators, and applied AHP in order to calculate the significance. Through examination of the findings from the physical environment factors for child-friendliness by 25 administrative gu’s, it is highly anticipated that improvement measures for exposure to risks within cities will be further discussed and the study will be able to provide the data required to realize safe cities for children.
