실과의 교과역량 변화 방향에 대한 탐구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 새롭게 개정되는 국가수준 교육과정에 적용될 수 있는 실과의 교과역량을 제안하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 2015 개정교육과정의 교과역량과 독일, 핀란드의 사례를 탐구하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2015개정 교육과정에서는 실과만 유일하게 분화적 관점으로 교과역량을 제시하고 있었다. 둘째, 총론의 핵심역량과는 달리 교과역량은 교과 특수적 역량 중심 접근을 적용할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 통합적 관점으로 교과 특수적 역량 중심 접근을 적용하기 위하여 총론의 핵심역량과의 관계를 명확히 할 필요가 있었으며 실과의 특성을 반영하여 핵심역량의 상위 위계에 해당하는 융합형태로 교과역량을 제시하였다. 넷째, 실과의 기존 역량들과 교과의 방향성을 반영하여 ‘문제해결 역량’, ‘메이킹 역량’, ‘생활 영위 역량’, ‘변화 적응 역량’, ‘사회 기여 역량’의 다섯 가지 역량을 제안하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실과의 교과역량은 다양한 방법으로 제시될 수 있으며 논의와 숙의 과정을 통하여 하나의 방향이 결정될 필요가 있다. 둘째, 실과의 교과역량은 실과가 추구해 왔던 가치들을 담을 필요가 있으며 이 과정에서 과거의 실과 교육과정을 과정을 참고할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 실과의 교과역량은 융합적으로 제시되어야 하며, 하나의 활동에서 여러 가지 역량이 함양될 수 있도록 구성할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to propose the Practical Arts subject competency that can be applied to the newly revised national level curriculum. For this purpose, the subject competency of the 2015 revised curriculum and cases of Germany and Finland were explored. The results are as follows. First, in the 2015 revised curriculum, only Practical Arts presented curriculum competencies from a differential perspective. Second, unlike the core competencies of the national curriculum, it is necessary to apply a subject-specific competency-centered approach to subject competencies. Third, in order to apply the subject-specific competency-centered approach from an integrated point of view, it was necessary to clarify the relationship with the core competency of the general discussion. Fourth, five competencies of ‘Problem-solving competency’, ‘Making competency’, ‘Lifestyle operate competency’, ‘Change adaptation competency’ and ‘Social contribution competency’ were suggested by reflecting the existing competencies and the direction of the curriculum. The conclusions based on these results are as follows. First, the Practical Arts competency can be presented in various ways, and one direction needs to be determined through the process of discussion and deliberation. Second, the curriculum of the Practical Arts needs to contain the values pursued by the Practical Arts, and in this process, it is necessary to refer to the course of the past Practical Arts curriculum. Third, it is necessary to construct the curriculum so that it can be presented convergently and various competencies can be cultivated in one activity. Third, the Pratical Arts competenies should be presented in a comvergence manner and it is necessary to organize so that multiple competencies can be cultivated in one activity.
