동료튜터링을 활용한 토픽(TOPIK) 쓰기 온라인 교육의 가능성 탐색

국문 초록

이 글은 토픽(TOPIK) 쓰기 온라인 수업 사례를 중심으로 동료튜터링을 활용한 한국어 교육의 가능성을 논의한 것이다. 외국인을 대상으로 하는 한국어 교육은 어휘 및 문법ㆍ쓰기ㆍ듣기ㆍ읽기로 대별되는데, 그 중에서도 이 글에서 다루고자 하는 쓰기 영역의 학습은 숙련 과정이 요구된다. 이에 필자는 외국인 학생들이 한국어 쓰기 수업에 대해 흥미를 지니고, 자기주도적 학습을 진행함으로써 교육 내용을 내재화하여 토픽 쓰기 실전에서 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 또한 코로나19로 인해 외국인 학생 대상 수업이 전면 온라인으로 전환됨에 따라 비대면 수업에서의 새로운 교육 방법이 요구되는 실정이므로, 이 글에서는 이러한 온라인 교육의 한계를 극복하기 위한 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이에 온라인 수업에서의 소통 부재, 상호 교류 약화라는 단점을 극복하기 위하여 동료튜터링을 활용하여 학습자의 능동적 학습 태도 형성 및 상호 교류를 통한 학업 증진효과를 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 따라서 먼저 2장에서는 외국인 대상 토픽 쓰기 온라인 교육에서의 동료튜터링 도입 배경과 이론적 개념을 살펴, 논의의 타당성을 입증하는 동시에 동료튜터링 교수법이 지니는 장점을 확인하였다. 다음으로 3장에서는 단국대학교 <외국인을 위한 한국어 쓰기> 온라인 수업에서의 동료튜터링 활용의 실제를 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 여기에서는 토픽 쓰기 수업에서 단계별로 구현된 동료튜터링 양상과 동료튜터링을 활용한 토픽 쓰기 평가 결과를 공유하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to discuss the possibility of Koreanlanguage education by using peer tutoring centered on the cases ofonline course of TOPIK Writing. Korean language education forforeigners can be classified roughly into vocabulary andgrammar·writing·listening·reading, and the learning in the writing areaamong them requires the process of skill formation. Accordingly, thisresearcher groped for a method of internalizing the educational contentand using it in the actual TOPIK Writing through self-directed learningin order that foreign students could be interested in the Korean writingclass. In addition, as classes are fully transferred to online due toNovel Coronavirus (COVID-19), it requires a new educational methodin the untact instructions, so this researcher was to suggest a methodof overcoming these limitations of online education in this study. As aresult, this study was to investigate the effect of learning enhancementthrough the formation of active learning attitudes and interaction bylearners by using peer tutoring in order to overcome the disadvantagessuch as communication gap and weakened interaction in the online courses.Accordingly, in Chapter 2, this study was to examine theintroduction background of peer tutoring and theoretical concept in theonline education of TOPIK Writing for foreign students to verify thevalidity of discussion and advantages that the teaching method of peertutoring had simultaneously. Next, in Chapter 3, this study was to thisstudy was to explain the practice of using peer tutoring in the online course in DankookUniversity specifically.To conclude, this researcher considers it as it needs to share theaspect of peer tutoring implemented in TOPIK Writing class step bystep and assessment results of TOPIK Writing by using peer tutoring.
