제4차 산업혁명 시대 기독교교육의 인간상 고찰

국문 초록

오늘날 이른바 제4차 산업혁명시대에 위치한 세계의 변화와 그에 따른 인간의 삶의 조건은 예측하기 어렵다. WEF 창립자이자 회장 클라우스 슈밥(Klaus Schwab)은 제4차 산업혁명이 가져온 인간 삶의 변화는 이전에 인류가 경험했던 것과는 달리 그것의 속도, 범위와 깊이, 그리고 시스템의 충격에 있어서 그 차원이 다르다고 하였다. 이러한 인간 이성에 기초한 기술과 과학이 만들어낸 결과물들은 우리들에게 희망이 가득한 새로운 세상, 곧 유토피아(Utopia)를 꿈꾸게 한다. 하지만 여기에는 그 반대급부로 기술과학과 자본이 결합 되어 파생되는 비인간화, 인간소외와 같은 디스토피아(Dystopia)의 어두운 그림자가 드러나기도 한다. 이러한 시대적 상황에서, 연구자는 제4차 산업혁명시대 인공지능 기술이 가져올 새로운 상황들을 주목하면서 인간 형성으로서 교육담론들을 검토하면서 새로운 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구자는 제4차 산업혁명시대, 특히 포스트휴먼(post-human) 시대 바람직한 기독교적 인간 형성을 위한 기독교교육의 주요 과제를 다음과 같이 세 가지를 제시하였다. 첫째, 기독교교육이 추구해야 할 인간상은 무엇보다 인간 존재의 터전은 하나님과의 관계성 안에 있는 피조물이라는 사실을 인식하고 신앙을 고백하는 자리에서 교육을 출발해야 한다. 둘째, 기독교교육이 추구해야 할 인간상은 인간의 기술문명에 대한 올바른 분별과 판단을 위한 거버넌스(governance)가 필요함을 인정하고, 타자와 대화할 줄 아는 능력을 기르는 교육을 추구해야 한다. 셋째, 제4차 산업혁명시대 기술-경제적 탐욕으로 인한 불안과 위기의 시대에 인간의 탐욕을 극복할 지구 생명공동체의 윤리적 삶을 살아가도록 돕는 인간 형성의 교육이 요청된다.

영문 초록

Today, the changes in the world located in the era of the so-called fourth industrial revolution and the consequent conditions of human life are unpredictable. The WEF founder and chairman, Klaus Schwab, said the changes in human life brought about by the fourth industrial revolution are different in terms of its speed, range and depth, and the impact of the system, unlike previously experienced by mankind. These results of human reason-based technology and science-are what makes us dream of a new world, Utopia, full of hope. However, there is also a dark shadow of dystopia, such as inhumanization and non-humanization, which is derived from the combination of technology science and capital. In this situation, researchers sought to explore new possibilities, examining educational discourse as a form of human being, noting the new situations that artificial intelligence technology would bring in during the fourth industrial revolution. In particular, it predicted the educational theological task of what is the main issue of the Christian Formation of Christian in the post-humans era as follows. First, The desirable image of human being that Christian education should pursue should be recognized as the creature in the relationship with God and the education should start from the place where the faith is confessed. Second, Christian education should pursue and recognize the need for governance to properly discern and judge human technical civilization and pursue education to develop the ability to communicate with others. Finally, in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, the education of desirable human formation is required to help the ethical life of the earth life community to overcome human greed in the era of anxiety and crisis caused by economic-technical greed.
