개혁주의 세계관으로 바라본 학업과 기독교교육의 과제

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 개혁주의 세계관을 중심으로 한국교회 청소년사역에 도전이 되고 있는 학업을 이해하고, 그 이해를 기초로 하여 학업에 대한 기독교 교육의 실천적 과제를 제시하는 것이다. 예정된 일로서의 학업은 하나님의 형상을 따라 창조된 인간의 일로서 하나님의 선한 목적을 가지고 있었지만 인간의 타락으로 학업의 목적, 방향 그리고 문화가 왜곡되었다. 예수 그리스도의 구속사역으로 지역교회 내 청소년의 학업은 소명자의 일로 회복되었다. 회복된 학업은 그리스도인의 존재와 행위를 포괄하는 삶의 방식 안에서 이해되어지며 소명자로서 삶을 통해 하나님의 일에 참여하게 된다. 지역교회 내 청소년은 소명자로서 학업을 통해 하나님의 일에 참여하기 위해 소명 정체성이 확립해야 하는 시기이다. 따라서 지역교회 내 청소년의 소명 정체성이 확립되기 위한 구체적이고 구조화된 기독교 교육의 2가지 과제 즉, 소명자의 삶의 목적과 방향 그리고 삶의 자세를 제시하였다. 첫 번째 과제는 ‘하나님 나라를 위한 비전 창문’모델을 통해 학업에 대한 소명의 목적과 방향을 제시하였다. 두 번째 과제는 학업에 대한 소명 정체성을 확립을 위해 청소년의 통합된 삶의 자세를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 소명이 진로나 직업선택에 초점을 둔 미래지향적인 개념으로 이해되고 있음을 지적하였고 종교개혁자들에 의해 새롭게 정의된 ‘소명관’을 중심으로 ‘지금’ 그리고 ‘여기’의 ‘통합된 삶’으로 학업에 대한 소명 개념이 이해되어야 함을 주장하였다. 그리고 학업에 대한 지역교회 내 청소년의 소명 정체성을 세우기 위해 그리스도의 몸의 일부로서의 청소년에 대한 회중의 역할을 강조하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand students’academic performance facing a youth ministry focusing on the reformed worldview in the local church. In addition, it presents the practical tasks of Christian education in light of this reformed worldview perspective. The human work created in the image of God and having God s good purpose and plan. However, The purpose, direction, and culture for the academic performance was distorted by fallen man. Nevertheless, this academic performance reveals that, through the redemptive ministry of Jesus Christ, youth in the local church have been restored to performing the work of “the called”. The restored academic performance is understood as a integrated life that includes ‘being’ and ‘doing’ in a Christian manner. That is, it allows one to participate in the works of God by living life as one of the called. As those who have been called, youth in the local church must establish a calling identity in order to participate in the works of God via their studies. Therefore, this study presented two concrete, structured tasks of Christian education necessary for young people to establish a calling identity in the local church. Simply put, young people must absorb the same purpose, direction, and attitude toward life as those who are called. The first task presents discerning the purpose and direction of one’s calling to the academic performance. This takes place using the model of God’s “Vision Window” for His Kingdom. The second task requires an integrated life posture in order to establish one’s calling identity as an object of academic performance. This study presented the problem of future-oriented calling concepts focusing on career or job selection. It emphasizes that the concept of a calling to the academic performance should be understood as the “now” and “here”. According to the reformers, this newly-defined perspective on calling should be present in today’s “integrated life.” Furthermore, the congregation’s role was emphasized in order to help the identify establish as the called for the young members in the local church.
