기독교교육(학)과의 커리큘럼 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국내 10개의 기독교교육(학)과 교육과정을 분석하여 공통점과 차이점을 알아보고 발전적인 방향을 탐색하고자 하는데 있다. 교육과정 분석을 위한 틀로는 파이너가 분류한 교육과정 분류에 근거하고 있다. 파이너는 전통주의적 접근, 개념－경험주의적 접근, 재개념화 접근 등으로 교육과정을 분류하고 있다. 전통주의적 접근에서는 체계성을 강조하고, 개념－경험주의적 접근에서는 효율성을 강조하고 있다. 그리고 재개념화 접근에서는 정당성이 강조된다. 그러나 재개념화 접근은 정당성을 강조하는 교육과정만 있는 것이 아니라 해석학적 접근에 의한 통합성을 강조하는 접근도 있음을 밝히고 있다. 따라서 분석을 위한 틀은 네 종류로 구성된다. 체계성, 효율성, 정당성, 그리고 통합성으로서의 교육과정이다. 체계성의 관점에서 분석을 위한 내용들은 ‘교육목적과 교육목표의 상응성’ ‘교육목적(목표)과 교육내용(영역 및 교과목) 선정의 상응성’ ‘교육내용(교과목) 조직의 순차성’ 등이다. 효율성의 관점에서 분석을 위한 내용들은 ‘교육목표와 졸업 후 진로’ ‘교육내용(교과목) 선정 및 조직의 구성’ ‘수업과 강의평가의 적절성’ 등이다. 정당성의 관점에서 분석을 위한 내용들은 ‘헤게머니’ ‘잠재적 교육과정’ ‘영 교육과정’ 등이다. 통합성의 관점에서 분석을 위한 내용들은 ‘이론과 실습’ ‘타학문과의 관계’ ‘복수전공(연계전공), 학점교류(대학간), 해외대학과의 연계’ 등이다. 10개교 전체적으로 체계성, 효율성 등에서는 강점을 보인 반면에 정당성과 통합성에서는 취약한 면을 보이고 있다. 그리고 각 학교의 학과 특성화는 대체적으로 영 교육과정으로 남겨져 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to analysis the Christian Educational Department’s Curriculum(CEDC) in ten’s college or university. For analysis this article used a framework by approaches of traditionalists, conceptual-empiricists, and reconceptualists. By these approaches this article analyze ten’s curricular by the systematicness, effectiveness, rightness, and integration. In the view of systematicness CEDC is systematized by each College or University’s ideology and goal. But the systematicness between the educational goal and the educational content is not high level. The sequence of educational contents is formed such as liberal arts in first and second years, and major subjects in third and fourth years. But some college and university is formed major subjects without distinctiveness of school years. In the view of effectiveness CEDC is structuralized by the characteristics of the disciplines of Christian Education for effectiveness. Another method for effectiveness is to propose the guidance after graduation. For effectiveness human development process, educational context, and counseling’s subjects is structuralized such as system. And for effectiveness some College or University have been using not the teaching evaluation but the instruction evaluation. In view of rightness professors in ten’s College or University have a hegemony for opening and closeness to the curriculum. Some College or University have a positive position to the hidden curriculum and most of College or University have a negative position to the null curriculum for characterization of CEDC. In view of integration most of CEDC emphasize beyond dichotomy between theory and practice, interdisciplinary, plural major system, national and international exchange of credits between Colleges or Universities.
