국문 초록

연구목적: 싱가포르항, 네덜란드 로테르담항, 독일 함부르크항과 같은 세계적인 선진 항만들은 스마트 기술의 적용을 위해 경쟁하고 있다. 반면 우리나라의 항만은 해운, 항만, 내륙 물류 이해 관계자 간의 정보 공유가 부족하다. 디지털화된 물류 데이터의 수집과 연계가 어려워서, 전체 공급사슬의 효율적인 운영을 위한 분석과 개선에는 한계가 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 항만을 중심으로 하는 공급사슬의 디지털 전환을 가능하게 하는 핵심 스마트 기술을 제안하여 적용을 지원하고자 한다. 논문구성/논리: 본 연구에서는 먼저 항만 관련 물류 프로세스를 조사한 다음 주요 문제점을 도출한다. 이후 항만 연계물류를 위한 주요 스마트 기술의 개념과 사례를 소개한다. 위의 분석을 바탕으로 국내 도입이 필요한 항만 물류 스마트 기술을 제안한다. 마지막으로 전체 연구를 요약하고 연구의 의미와 향후 방향을 논의한다. 결과: 항만 연계물류의 문제점, 항만 연계물류의 스마트 기술과 적용 사례를 통해, 우리나라에서 항만을 중심으로 공급사슬의 디지털 전환을 가능하게 하는 핵심적인 스마트 기술을 도출해보았다. 도입이 필요한 항만 연계물류 관련 스마트 기술을 화물 지능화, 연계운송 효율화, 연계운송 자동화의 세 영역으로 나눈 후, 영역별로 기술을 제안하였다. 독창성/가치: 지금까지 스마트 항만 관련 연구들은 대부분 국외 항만의 상황을 대상으로 수행되었기 때문에 우리나라의 상황에 맞는 스마트 항만 관련 연구는 매우 부족한 상황이다. 우리나라 항만은 선진 항만에 비해 자동화뿐만 아니라 해운-항만-내륙 물류 주체 간 정보 공유가 미흡하다. 디지털화된 물류 데이터의 수집과 연계가 어려워, 공급사슬 전체의 운영 효율화를 위한 분석과 개선에 한계가 존재한다. 본 연구는 우리나라의 항만 연계물류 문제점을 기반으로, 항만을 중심으로 공급사슬의 디지털 전환을 가능하게 하는 핵심적인 스마트 기술을 제안한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: Advanced global ports, such as Singapore Port, Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and Port of Hamburg in Germany, are competing for the application of smart technologies. Contrastingly, Korea s ports have insufficient information sharing between shipping, port, and inland logistics stakeholders. It is difficult to collect and link digitized logistics data; therefore, there is a limit to analysis and improvement for the efficient operation of the entire supply chain. In order to solve these problems, the purpose of this study is to support the application by proposing core smart technologies that enable digital transformation of the port-centric supply chain. Composition/Logic: In this study, first, we investigate the port-related logistics processes, and then establish the main problems. Second, we introduce the concepts and examples of major smart technologies for port-centric logistics. Based on the above analyses, we propose smart technologies for port-centric logistics that need to be introduced in Korea. Finally, the study is summarized, and the implications and opportunities for future studies are discussed. Findings: Through the problems, smart technologies and application examples for port-centric logistics, we derive core smart technologies that enabled digital transformation of the port-centric supply chain in Korea. After dividing the smart technologies related to port-centric logistics into three areas: intelligent cargo, efficient port-centric transportation, and automated port-centric transportation, technologies are proposed for each area. Originality/Value: As most of the studies related to smart ports so far have been conducted in overseas ports, studies related to smart ports suitable for Korea are lacking. Compared to advanced ports, Korean ports have insufficient automation and information sharing between shipping, port, and inland logistics stakeholders. It is difficult to collect and link digitized logistics data; therefore, there is a limit to analysis and improvement for the efficient operation of the entire supply chain. This study proposes core smart technologies that enable digital transformation of the port-centric supply chain, based on the problems of port-centric logistics in Korea.
