대학생의 사회부과 완벽주의와 취업불안의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회부과 완벽주의, 취업불안, 자기개념 명확성, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족 간의 구조적 관계를 살펴보고, 사회부과 완벽주의와 취업불안의 관계에서 자기개념 명확성과 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 3, 4학년 학생 총 328명(여학생: 246명, 남학생: 82명)을 표집하여, IBM SPSS Statistics 23과 AMOS 23을 활용하여 연구모형을 검증하였다. 그 결과, 사회부과 완벽주의와 취업불안 관계는 자기개념 명확성과 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족에 의해 다중매개되었다. 사회부과 완벽주의와 취업불안의 관계를 자기개념 명확성, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족이 각각 매개할 뿐만 아니라 자기개념 명확성과 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족의 연속매개효과도 유의하였다. 이는 취업을 준비하는 대학생 중 사회부과 완벽주의가 높은 학생일수록 자기개념 명확성을 낮게 지각하게 되고, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족으로 이어져 취업불안을 더 많이 호소할 수 있다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 의의, 시사점, 제한점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the multiple mediating effects of self-concept clarity and intolerance of uncertainty on the relationships between socially prescribed perfectionism and job-seeking anxiety of university students. Questionnaires measuring self-concept clarity, intolerance of uncertainty, socially prescribed perfectionism and job-seeking anxiety were completed by 328 junior and senior university students in South Korea. Descriptive statistics and correlational analyses were conducted, followed by structural equation modeling analyses with bootstrapping procedures. The results of the structural equation model analysis indicated that the multiple mediating effects of self-concept clarity and intolerance of uncertainty on the relationships between socially prescribed perfectionism and job-seeking anxiety were significant. Implications for intervention strategies to reduce job-seeking anxiety of university students who have high levels of social socially perfectionism in counseling settings were discussed. The limitations in the current study and recommendations for future research were presented.
