판소리계 소설 서사 활용 연구

국문 초록

판소리계 소설은 지금까지도 생명력을 유지하고 있는 서사로, 미래의 콘텐츠 활용을 가늠하기에 좋은 소재이다. 특히, 최근에 <방자전>과 <마담뺑덕>을 통해, 적극적으로 문화콘텐츠 형성이 가능하다는 것을 보여 주기도 했다. 따라서 본고에서는 『열녀춘향수절가』와 『심청전완판본』을 <방자전>과 <마담뺑덕>과 비교 분석함으로써 앞으로의 활용 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 두 작품 모두 독특한 방향을 취했다기보다는, 공통된 방향으로 나아가되 각각의 특색을 드러낸 것으로 보인다. 현대인의 원초적 욕망을 캐릭터에게 각각 부여하고, 캐릭터에게 새로운 성격을 부과함과 동시에 원전에서 부각되지 않았던 등장인물을 새롭게 형성했다는 것이다. 이 두 특징 모두 원전 서사 설정에서는 크게 벗어나지 않되, 관객들에게 새로움을 부여하고 공감을 이끌어 냈다는 공통점을 가진다. 이러한 방향의 연구는 이미 다수 진행된 바 있으나 단순 서사 비교에 그친다는 한계를 가진다. 따라서 본고에서는 기존의 서사 분석 틀에서 벗어나고자, 서사에서 화소를 추출·비교하며 논의를 보다 정량적으로 전개할 것이다. 이어서, 캐릭터의 서사가 어떻게 변화했는지 파악하기 위해 안숭범이 제시한 ‘캐릭터 동기화 이론’을 통해 재구성 지점을 확인하여 체계적으로 변화의 흐름을 짚어 내는 것이 본고의 목적이다. 이를 통해 욕망을 다루는 관점에서 서사 변용의 공통점을 확인하고, 새로운 서사를 획득하고자 캐릭터를 변용시킨다는 공통점을 구체적으로 서술할 것이다.

영문 초록

Pansori novels are still a life-saving narrative, and are a good material to gauge future content use. In particular, through and , it has recently shown that cultural contents can be actively formed. Therefore, the Dong-A Ilbo plans to compare and analyze 『Yeolnyeo Chunhyang Sujeolga』 and 『Simcheongjeon Wanpanbon』 with and (Madam Pang-duck)> to present the possibility of future use. Rather than taking a unique direction, both works seem to be moving in a common direction but revealing their respective characteristics. It is said that the original desires of modern people were given to each character, and at the same time imposed a new personality on the character, they formed a new character that was not highlighted in the original. Both of these characteristics do not deviate much from the setting of the nuclear power plant narrative, but they have something in common that has given audiences newness and inspired empathy. Many studies have already been conducted in this direction, but they are limited to simple narrative comparisons. Therefore, in order to break away from the existing narrative analysis framework, the discussion will be carried out more quantitatively by extracting and comparing pixels from the narrative. Subsequently, the main purpose of the book is to identify the reconstruction point through Ahn Sung-bum s character synchronization theory to find out how the character s narrative has changed and systematically point out the flow of change. Through this, we will identify commonalities of narrative transformation from the perspective of dealing with desire, and describe in detail the common points of using characters to acquire new narrative.
