コーパス分析に基づく｢余る｣と｢残る｣の考察

국문 초록

本稿では｢余る｣と｢残る｣を考察対象とし、実例において頻出する構文および組み合わさる名詞の分析を行なった。｢余る｣の場合｢NがV｣の構文が多く、が格名詞は｢時間｣が頻出し｢暇ができる｣という意味で用いられる。一方｢時間が残る｣(その時間が存在するという意味)はあまり出現しない。お金を意味する名詞が両動詞と組み合わさる場合、｢余る｣は｢お金·資金が余る｣全体で｢金銭的に余裕がある｣ことを表わすが、｢残る｣の場合は ｢ローン、借金｣など範囲が決まっている名詞と組み合わさり｢返さないといけないものが存在する｣ことを表わす。｢残る｣は｢NにNがV｣の構文が頻出し、組み合わさる名詞も多様である。ニ格名詞(存在場所を表わす)が共起するものが多く、ガ格名詞としては事(貴重なもの、記憶、問題など)が頻出し、それらの名詞の存在を述べている。韓国語では｢남다｣という一つの動詞で訳されるが、｢余る｣と｢残る｣のコーパスにおける使用状況は、構文や結合する名詞の特徴において違いがあることを示した。

영문 초록

In this paper, we analyzed the usage of the examples of “Amaru” and “Nokoru”. Both verbs are translated into the verb “Namda” in Korean. First, “Amaru” has fewer types of the structure than “Nokoru” in the corpus. Many nouns combined with “Amaru” also combine with “Nokoru”, In particular, when nouns meaning money are combined with both verbs, “Amaru” is combined with nouns such as “profit, budget”, while “Nokoru” is combined with nouns such as “loan, debt”, which are defined in scope, to indicate “there is something to be paid back”. As you can see from previous studies, “Nokoru” has a lexical meaning of “existence” that “Amaru” does not have. It was found that “ni”-case particle indicating the place of existence often appear in examples of “Nokoru”. When non-native speakers distinguish synonyms in Japanese, it is important to give examples of what kind of nouns each word actually often combines with.
