국문 초록

본 연구는 장애대학생의 사회적 네트워크 특성을 분석하여 지원방안을 모색하고자 94명을 대상으로 사회적 네트워크의 구조적 특성과 기능적 특성을 조사하였다. 장애대학생의 사회적 네트워크 크기는 평균 29.7명이었으며, 중요한 지지원은 가족과 친구였으며, 밀도는 .59였다. 성별에 따라 사회적 지지의 하위 영역에 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 네트워크 크기는 물질적 지지와 평가적 지지에 유의한 상관을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 장애대학생의 지원 방안이 네트워크 크기의 확장과 사회적 지지 하위 영역에 따라 물질적 지지원보다는 정서적/정보적/평가적 지지원을 확보하는 것 등을 중심으로 논의되었다. 이 외에 대학내외의 관계기관간 협력체제의 구축, 상담지원의 강화, 장애대학생 지원 평가 체제의 개선 등이 지원 방안으로 제시되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the features of social network for handicapped college students and seek the ways of supporting the students. For this study, the structural and functional features of the social network were examined with 94 handicapped college students. The results of this study indicated that the number of people in the social network was 29.7 with mean score. The important supporting sources that students considered were their family and friends with density of .59. The difference in gender was statistically significant in the subcategory of the social support. The network size was also significant related to the material and the appraisal support. With this results, this study discussed the ways of supporting the students in expansion of the network size and the subcategory of the social support. The subcategory of the social support sources focused more on securing emotional, informative and appraisal support source than material support.
