뇌성마비 아동 어머니의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니와 아동의 특성, 개인적 자원, 우울, 삶의 질의 정도와 관계를 파악하고, 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 어머니의 특성(나이, 직업, 경제상태), 아동의 특성(일상생활의존도), 개인적 자원(자기효능감, 건강상태), 우울이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 이들 변인들이 삶의 질에 대해 70.4%의 설명력이 있었으며, 특히 우울은 삶의 질에 대해 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타났다(β=-.532, p=.00).이상의 연구결과를 통해 볼 때 뇌성마비 아동 어머니의 삶의 질을 증진시키기 위해서는 우울과 같은 정신적 건강에 대한 철저한 사정을 통해 우울의 고위험군에 대한 개별치료 뿐만 아니라 우울예방을 위한 스트레스 관리에 대한 구체적 대안이 필요함을 시사해 주었다. 또한 뇌성마비 아동 어머니의 개인적 자원인 자기효능감과 건강상태를 증진시키는 방안을 모색하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

This study was attempted to investigate the influencing factors on quality of life in mothers of cerebral palsy. The data was collected from April to May 2005. The subject were 97 mothers who attended the outpatient department of hospital, local welfare center and disabled children s house in Busan metropolitan city. The research method for the study was self-reporting questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed by using SPSSWIN 10.0. The results were as follows. The health condition score was 2.86(±.69) and the self-efficacy score was 60.91(±8.58) and the depression score was 13.34(±5.01) and the quality of life score was 134.18(±23.13). The quality of life had a significant positive correlation with mothers occupation(r=.211, p<.05), economic status(r=.234, p<.05), health status(r=.495, p<.0), self-efficacy(r=.523, p<.01) but the depression had a significant negative correlation with quality of life(r=-.736, p<.01). We made a discovery the effects of mothers age and occupation, childrens handicap, private resources(health condition, self-efficacy) and depression on the quality of life in mothers of cerebral palsy with Hierachical multiple regression. The above variables had the 70.4% explanation power on the quality of life. The depression, especially had the 65.2% explanation power. When we try to develop the nursing intervention strategy to promote the quality of life in mothers of cerebral palsy. And we must consider to promote the self-efficacy and health condition in advance. Especially, this study found out that the nursing teams handle mother s depression carefully. We need to have the concrete alternative to control their depression and we must treat individually. And so the mothers ought to be helped to get the health body and mind.
